For the past 4 years we and a group of friends go and have a majestic dinner at La Botte. We arrive at 17h30 and leave when ready... our tradition says that we enjoy a real Italian meal: starter, primo, escondi and desert a la carts, with fantastic wine, grappas and limoncelo! Price wise we could try others however we always return as we have not yet found a restaurant that combines it all as La Botte does: fantastic food and wine, good people who's objective is to make you feel welcome and at home... quite sure we'll go back for the fifth time

We welcome you in our new restaurant. We are located next to Hotel Stiemerheide.
first visit. friendly welcome, professional staff, nice setting and view on the open kitchen. We had the 5 course menu, preceeded by 4 very good appetizers. We espacially appreciated the salmon, the coquilles and the dessert. Nice 'après desserts' with the coffee. Complete winelist. Will go back!

We visited this restaurant a few times before. The reason to revisit was the restyling of the restaurant. What a wonderful, stylish, contemporary ambiance! This definitely adds to the full experience. Our lunch was perfect: creative, exciting tastes and structures, well balanced, adequate portions, beautifully designed presentation. Service exceeded expectations: very friendly, professional, informative, well paced. From the moment you enter the reception area until you leave again, you are accompanied by great hosts. We would recommend La Source for special occasions where you want to feel very pampered. Perfect! In summer there is a large Terrace overlooking a lovely garden. Luxury overnight stays possible in hotel La Butte aux Bois.

Looking for a place to dine first night of holiday came on this restaurant by chance, quiet when we arrived but large party arrived while we were there and within minutes all the furniture on the verandah was rearranged to accomodate them.Staff were friendly and helpful..
We ordered grilled Perch which came with Argentinian spiced rice(absolutely delicious)and a huge sharing bowl of salad.Cost was about 28 euros each including drinks, didn't have a starter and couldn't possibly have eaten a dessert.Went in not having eaten all day and came out full and very happy.Would recommend.

Dutch friends of ours treated us to dinner here. And wow, what an exceptional treat it was.
It's a little out of the way and situated in a predominantly pedestrian shopping district. You park in a multi-level parking structure and walk about two blocks but it is well worth it. Most of the other restaurants in the district were slow... This place was full.
Our friends are regulars here and we were greeted like we were family. The owner himself showed us to our table and welcomed us. Menus followed... Phenomenal choices. I chose the kabeljauw (cod) filet dinner with frieten (french fries), my wife chose a house special meat sampler which we elected to share so we could each enjoy both entrees.
As soon as the menus were gathered, the Ouzo shots materialized... Then the wonderful Greek salads. All seven main courses arrived at the same time, all piping hot, all fresh.
The entrees we had were fantastic. Absolutely the best cod filet I have ever tasted. The seven different types of meat in the sampler were equally delicious. The portions were very generous and we ended up taking a goodly amount home. We topped off the meal with a great cup of cappuccino.
The prices here are very reasonable for the exceptionally high quality of the food here. Likewise, the service was excellent as well. Our thanks to Henry, our server. Outstanding efficiency, responsiveness, and service. We had a wonderful dining experience and would absolutely eat here again.
As a reminder, the American custom of free refills for soft drinks and coffee/tea is not practiced in Europe. You will be charged separately for each beverage. Also, tips are already included in the price. Save your additional tips for only the most outstanding service.

Small but nice and cozy living room decorated "eatcafe" on restaurant level. About thirty seatings for dinner, drinks only limited if there is a free table or on reservation for whisky lovers. Over 550 whisky's in stock, expert advice is always possible! Also very extensive range of other alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. Illy coffee! Constant four beers on tap. Monthly whisky tastings. Extensive menu with Scotch (whisky) dishes, local and international, mostly Mediterranean cuisine. Ever changing vegetarian dishes. Asparagus, mussels, salads and rich choice of venison in the seasons. Diets and allergies expert chef always present. Environmentally conscious, biologically appropriate and fair trade are important. Training company for 20 years, working with handicapped youngsters.
This restaurant is located in a side street of the central market place. But boy, is this a place to take a short stroll to. First of all, the reception. Very hearthy and open. Then, of course, there's the gargantuan number of whisk(e)ys on offer,...MoreThank you so much for your fantastic review Pascal! Maybe someday, I will find some time to translate, next to our menu (already in English), also the toilet-items into English.

We had a business diner at Bertelli in Weert. 7 courses of excellent food in a great atmosphere. I don't know how they do it but we spend more the 4 hours in this nice restaurant, without waiting for service. Not one dull moment.

This realy is a good restaurant but I see no reason why it should have one michelin stars. It has two. These stars are raising expectations that just aren't met. The food deserves better wines, two stars and the same cheap Chilean Chardonnay from Santa Ines with two courses is not okay for me. Not for this price. Service is not what you would expect. Personnel on average too junoir and unexperienced. Restaurant is crowded and noisy. Summary: good kitchen, poor wines and value for money not okay.

This is high end, gastro-engineered food presented in a modern way. It is a joy to your mouth, your tongue and your tummy.
Each dish is a well thought out work of art that tastes great. Your senses are challenged. Your eyes amaze at the colors and composition. Your nose smells these wonderful aromas. And finally, your tongue get grab and shaken by absolutely amazing tastes. It is really a treat to eat here.
