Funky Jimmy Buffet atmosphere breakfast(weekends only), lunch and dinner cafe on the edge of a mountain lake at 8000ft. Owned and operated by a Certified Executive Chef and his wonderful staff. Something for everyone with wide variety international menu. 7 Days May to October 1.
This place has great views of the lake and you can watch all the hummingbirds on the patio while you eat. The burgers we ordered were amazing and there is quite a selection of different foods on the menu! I would definitely eat there again!

We went first for breakfast but my wife wanted French Toast. They do not have the typical traditional breakfast. Based on the reviews, everyone seems to love the breakfast. They kindly directed us to a different restaurant We went a day later for lunch and had the best Reuben sandwich ever. It was freshtastic. We will be going back again for lunch. They were the nicest owners operating the restaurant.

There aren't many restaurants in Bayfield, so expect this one to get very busy. We were in no rush, so no problem, even though it took 2 hors to have brunch. But the food was above average an quantity and taste. So if you have the time, or if it isn't busy, Brenda's is worth a visit.

I had a serious chocolate craving so I stopped at Baked. Man did they satisfy that craving. I had the chocolate crunch cake and for the next day their chocolate peanut butter cupcake. Sweet, sweet, delectable delights!!! Chocolate heaven!

Bottom Shelf Brewery is a local pub in Bayfeild, Colorado opening in the fall of 2013. Featuring delicious barbecue, mouth watering burgers and homemade fries, extremely edible appetizers, it's fun for the whole family. The hand crafted brews are also top notch, come for the food and stay for the beer.
Well, 'shut my mouth' ! Took my brother's family here for lunch and All ~Raved about the home brew beer. I stuck to Bud as I've had way too many bad experiences with 'craft beer'. Apparently, I blew it, as my nephews and brother talked about nothing else the whole way back to Pagosa Springs.
Looking for Museums, the one in this town was closed, as were a plethora of diners, This was the only restaurant open at 4pm on a Saturday- go figure.
Between the 5 of us we covered 9 beers and a chunk of the menu from Fish & Chips, Reuben, The Club, Classic Grilled Cheddar and Bottom Shelf Dip came to $94 + tip. The service by Jessica wasn't perfect but, as we all learn in life- It's Not A Perfect World.
Incidentally, this was a very nice place - Despite the name which almost scared us off...a great find

Quality food in a small town strip mall.A wonderful spicy dish of Happy Family only drawback was beautiful huge scallops were not cook as long as I would have preferred. They offered to make another dish but I had eaten a full meal w/the Lo Men substituted for rice.Very reasonably priced.Service was friendly.

A small mom and pop place. Seating under a covered area outside is larger than seating inside. Service was very good and wait staff was very considerate. Full bar and lots of brews to choose from. Our food consisted of fajitas, beef enchiladas, queso, Chile relleno, beans, rice and dessert was flan. The fajitas were good and juicy. Portions of everything was great. The relleno was very dry and tough as was the beef enchilada. Taste was average....not too spicy, not too bland. Not the best Mexican food I've ever eaten but certainly not the worst. It will do in a pinch but there is better in this little town.

My son (13) said it perfectly: Mom, this is like those 80s summer movies we watch. And it was. The restaurant was quaint, had amazing food (owners are from Wisconsin... They know their stuff!). Cheese curds... oh yeah! After dinner (which we took home a ton of leftovers... they are super generous with their portions) my son and I played pool. I'm a snob, and I loathe chain food. So this was an amazing and authentic experience. Service was great. Awesome view. We hope to return soon!

AJ's Pizza was recommended by Bayfield Riverside RV Park and we are so glad the staff told us about AJ's. We chose to eat outdoors under the canopied courtyard. We ordered AJ's Supreme pizza and a draft Blue Moon beer at the terrific price of $2.00 a pint. The pizza was wonderful. It was loaded with pepperoni, sausage, olives, mushrooms, onion and delicious cheese and sauce. The crust was very light and thin with just the right amount of crispiness around the edge. What could make it any better...a cold glass of beer. The prices are very reasonable and the staff accommodating. We wholeheartedly recommend AJ's

The pluses: The restaurant is in an historic building, and they are helping bring Bayfield back to prosperity. The menu is extensive, if you like Mexican food. The flavors are unique for most of their dishes. The food delivery was quick.
The negatives: The food is overpriced for that type of food. The food was only lukewarm when it arrived. I like my steaming. The waitress brought our drink orders, then took our food orders, and we did not see her again until it was time to present the bill. No refills on drinks, which happened to be water, were ever offered. The young man who brought our food from the kitchen, asked, "Who had the beef enchilada?" Our answer was "No one". My husband said he had ordered a cheese enchilada, and the waiter put one plate in front of him. Then, he put the other plate in front of me. I informed him I had ordered a burrito. He said, "Oh that is what that is." First, he had just called it an enchilada, and second, it did not look like any burrito I have had at any other Tequilla's. I ate it anyway. Except for being almost cold, it tasted good. My husband and I eat at the Tequilla's in Pagosa Springs, Durango, and Trinidad-our favorite. We have always like the food, but I doubt we will be back to Bayfield. It's just not the same.
