Tried thelma's based on tripadvisor reviews. It was a busy place and got there too late for dumplings .we had Turkey,dressing,mashed potatoes .several veggies available-tasted like home cooking. Many desserts available ,a lot of yummy looking pies.Prices are not posted. You are charged by the items that you choose. My Turkey and dressing mashed potatoes and green beans with soft drink was around $10 . It was large portions and very tasty.

during this hot hot weather we've had a blizzard from D Q hits the spot and in all the years i've been going there they are always great the food is consistantly the same thats why we keep going back and so far always great service..

The vegetables are reminiscent of what you would find in a TV dinner. Chicken and Dumplings have good southern flavor but there is too much liquid and not enough Chicken and Dumplings. Hopefully they will learn that quality is key....until that is the ingredients me and my family will stay at home.

I liked this local restaurant, it was clean, spacious and welcoming. However I wish they were more precise in their description. I ordered chicken panini but it came with pork bacon !!!
other then that , the cake that my friend Lauren ordered was a delicious homemade cake.

You always see in the Food And Travel Networks about the hidden gems in the country of Drive Ins and Restaurants, well this is definitely one not to miss!! I can honestly say I am a local and have been a loyal patron of Engles for over 35 years! Love the food and the Hotdogs and chili are the best I have ever had!!! If you are traveling thru via 25E this is a must to try! You won't be disappointed!!

Very friendly authentic Mexican restaurant. A variety of menu items which also include a few American favorites. Great food and service with a smile! A large size floor which has a separate party room and a smoking section, yes I just said that! Will return when I'm in the mood for Mexican cuisine.

My husband absolutely loves this place. We drive here from 2 hours away. You will never get cold or soggy food, its always fresh. You can call in, dine in or have a car hop. Its a nice family owned hamburger joint.

Sushi in Barbourville! And it's good! If sushi isn't your thing, they have loaded fries, buffalo wings, chicken, burgers, even stir fry. And the lunch menu is really reasonable. But don't leave without a Thai Tea with Milk. TRUST ME!!!

Locally produced art and other items (we bought some honey and enjoyed looking at the jewelry on display) combine with plenty of games, books and magazines to borrow, comfortable seating and tasty coffee, treats and a small but hearty menu make this a favorite place to meet for business or pleasure.
