After Reading the other reviews on Trip Advisor we decided to give Pulcinella a try. We walked 1.25 miles to the location shown on the map on Trip Advisor and on the restaurants own web site only to find it wasn't there. We eventually discovered it was within 100m of where we had started, close to the Puente Colgante. We never got to try the food as the waiter was so rude and unhelpful that we walked out half way through ordering. We will never go there again.

A la carte restaurant, a fusion of traditional Basque cuisine with cutting edge creativity. Choose from fish, meat and delicious starters. You can also choose from our set menus: the traditional menu, the sampling menu or the executive menu
We ate in this restaurant because it had a Michelin star and we were staying at the Melia hotel. We couldn't get in the first night but got Reservations for the second and were really disappointed. The food emphasis was on unusual preparations and presentation. I had the rabbit which was prepared three different ways. Every one of them was ridden with chips of bone. I finally gave up on eating any of them.
The dining room was elegant with wood paneling and white linens but was too brightly lit and the staff was formal to the point of being stuffy. The restaurant was expensive and not very pleasant.

We had a nice experience having lunch here. This is the typical basque Baserri (a typycal house with history into the woods with typical waiters dressed in traditional customes). Nice starters and EXCELLENT meat. We had the typical basque "txuletón" with an average red wine. The only pitty is the price. In my opinion is a little bit expensive.

Es un restaurante pequeño, junto a los Juzgados y a 5 minutos del BEC (Bilbao exhibition centre). Cuenta con menus, carta y un reservado. It´s a small restaurant, near of court of Barakaldo and 5 minutes walking from BEC (Bilbao exhibition centre). It has a large menu.
We were visiting the basketball woldcup in Bilbao at the expo center. Due to the crowds there was limited possibility to find good food but Sikera was a great catch. Sikera was good choise for both fathers and teenage sons. Local food, good service and affordable prices. Espesially good memories about Belota ham and nice sommelier Nerea.

Cerramos por vacaciones desde el 26 de marzo al 2 de abril, ambos incluidos. Volveremos el 3 de abril con las pilas cargadas!
Visited this on the of chance of some decent food. We were not dissappointed.
The selection of pinchos is very good and extremely tasty - all very reasonably priced.
A large variety of meals are served at differing times of day, also great value and well prepared.
A bustling and busy cafe contributes greatly to the friendly local atmosphere.
Be prepared to use your schooldays Spanish - not a lot of English is spoken.

We visited this unassuming restaurant in a pedestrian side road two evenings in a week.
Both evenings ( and they are only open between 9-11 pm in the evenings), we were the only diners.
Absolutely delicious local food , big portions and friendly service for a very reasonable price.
A real find!

A light lunch was needed after a long visit to the Guggenheim Museum and TripAdvisor revealed this excellent little place.
The range of savoury and sweet crepes is wide enough to satisfy most needs. The guy who runs it is great and prices are low. (It is basically a cafe after all.)
It's a shame that we ran out of time and couldn't go back on another day.
Do note that it closes between lunch and dinner times.

No voy a repetir.
