Bắc Hà is a rural district of Lào Cai Province in the Northeast region of Vietnam. It is the capital of the region of the Flower Hmong, one of the 54 minorities of Vietnam and of the six groups of Hmong people. It is famous for its Sunday morning market, where thousands of locals gathered, the women dressed in their very intricate handmade costumes (it takes three to five months to embroider one by hand), as well as for the Saturday morning smaller market of Can Cau, 18 kilometres (11 mi) north of Bắc Hà. The town is enjoying an economic boom thanks to tourism, centered on the markets and, more and more, excellent trekking in the mountains north of the town.

I called into this restaurant en route to another city. Lunchtime was very busy but they still managed to serve everyone quickly and efficiently. I would suggest having what the locals are eating and there are lots of them eating in the restaurant, usually a very good sign.

We went here twice. The first time for a juice drink, they were happy to make to order (not from the menu). The second time was for a coffee, which was very nice. The wifi is also very good. This is one of the few...MoreThanks a lot for your time!

We visited buffalo bell for both lunch and dinner and enjoyed our food there. Staff were very friendly and service was good. It is not the clearest sign (buffalo bell hidden behind a sign for coffee!) but look for the big sign which says coffee bar or the one standing up which looks like the picture attached!

This would have to be one of the most popular restaurants in Bac Ha. There are three levels so it can cater for many diners. Our meals were typical Vietnamese and very tasty. The Hotpot on night two was prepared at the table and a real treat. The wine list is VERY limited but the beer was cold. The staff were super efficient and very happy to assist.

This restaurant is always full of locals. The welcome is great and the food is fresh and delicious. The best nems ever! The dining room is in a chalet style made of wood pannels.... Very nice!
Our restaurant would like to thank all of you who have supported us in the past, due to our lack of experience, so we are very confused in processing as well as serving. We will make you more complete. In addition to salmon specialties, sturgeon, we also serve specialty food made from chicken, pigs, goats, horses also have room to serve you far away, come to us.
