We are there and the food is pretty much Ok. That is not the case with the interior. Your neighbour will eat from your plate too. There is no space between tables. It's horrible.
And it was cold too, because there is no Terrace heating and the place is all open. No more for us.

We ate a great lunch in this nice little family-run bistro. Three times ravioli Gratines which just tasted wonderful. Nice Salade du chèvre chaud and great Gambas with pomme du legumes - Finalized with fantastic desserts with ice and coffee. 4 persons including wine - 110 euro - and they even brought water for our little dog by them selves.

We just happened to arrive in the restaurant at lunch time and were shown to a table in an alcove.
The range of starters and main courses was good, as was the range of wines.
Each of us selected different starters and we were agreeably surprised by the high standard of presentation and the good tastes.
The range of meals is broad and includes vegetarian,
We ate good food which was well prepared and at a fair price.

A rather modest place with a surprisingly good value for money. The menu isn't enormous but what we had (the marmite and the plat du jour) was really tasty and beautifully presented. The service is friendly and quick. I definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone passing by Aubenas.

I highly recommend the address if you happen to be visiting Aubenas.
The restaurant is located a bit outside of the old center which makes is less crowded than a lot of the easy alternatives available. Seated on the Terrace as we were, the surrounding area was lovely and calm.
We went for a 3 course menu, a bottle of Shiraz and the refreshing 'apéritif maison' (champagne with fresh raspberries). Adding a bottle of water, our tab totaled just above 100€: excellent value for money.
Aside from the good food, the service was also above standard. The host was very friendly and took special attention regarding some food allergy issues.
In addition, a small detail which I found noteworthy: the menu card my girlfriend received didn't display any prices (as good restaurants tend to do). At the end of our meal, she rated/expected our bill about €25 higher than the tab we were presented.

We almost passed this restaurant by as it looks a little dull from the outside. The decor inside is quite ordinary but the food was very good with generous portions. Pricing was not expensive and there are lots of wines by the half bottle. The staff are young and service is prompt if a little in experienced.

When I say room with a view, boy do I mean room with a view...absolutely stunning views across Aubenas from the two big picture windows.
We hadn't booked and it didn't appear too busy at first but soon filled up. From the outside it doesn't look anything special and doesn't give any indication of the stunning views.
An open bar with the kitchen behind. They offered a comprehensive menu and I chose the steak. Though I asked for very little blood, the request was not fulfilled. Nevertheless it was very nice.

On a modern grey, white, yellow coloured Terrace in front of Hotel the Ville, you can order (un)discovered combinations of ice flavours. It is delicious, well decoraded and served with a smike. Also take a quick look in the exposition in the historical building just opposite to the terras, on the left of Hotel the ville.
