It's the East Coast's answer to Las Vegas. Atlantic City's casinos draw tourists by the car- and bus-load, but even if your main objective is to play some blackjack, you'll want to save time for sightseeing. Stroll along the famous boardwalk with its numerous amusements and eateries or visit the historic, recently restored Absecon Lighthouse. Several fine courses attract golf enthusiasts, and in summer, local beaches are popular with families. Water-based activities include parasailing, charter fishing and tall ship cruises. Casino hoppers have 12 establishments to choose from, which run the gamut from elegance to a Wild West theme, so there's something for everyone's taste. Those who remember Atlantic City in its pre-gambling days can wax nostalgic with a taste of saltwater taffy, which has been an Atlantic City specialty for over 100 years.

Been in business 28 yrs. Featuring Italian American Cusine. One block from Tropicana and The Quarter. Family Owned. Upscale Italian American white table cloth restaurant . PLEASE upscale casual dress.... no tee shirts, graffiti tees, cut off, beachwear,Male tank tops.
Went with a large group from the Borgata. Someone else did all of the ordering on appetizers ; the clams were amazing ! Also, he made caprese at the table somehow. As in , the buffalo mozzarella cheese was created before our eyes . I had sea bass as an entree which was insanely fresh and tasty.
HIGHLY recommend this place .
Small spot . l heard it is hard to get in but I did not make the reservations.

As a former "Road Warrior" with over 30 years traveling for business, both domestically and internationally as well as being a top 1% reviewer for Trip Advisor, I would rate White House Subs, THE BEST EVER !!!
QUICK SUMMARY
SIZE
At least 18", might even be longer, they are GIGANTIC! At least 6" LONGER than Jersey Mike's, another NJ Sub shop, but no where near the quality of White House Subs.
PRICE/VALUE
Better Value than anywhere else, Bigger, Better Quality & More Meat !
SERVICE
They are "Top Quality People", just like their Food. They do NJ proud, and give NJ a good name. As a NJ native, and back after 40 years, it's nice to have such a GREAT experience and one that will give a VERY POSITIVE view of NJ and it's people.
TIPS FOR A GREAT EXPERIENCE
ORDERING TIP
Order ahead, to beat the lines. We called our order in and by time we got to the place, order was done.
We just walked past the long line to the back of the place to pick up area and walked out in about 3 minutes.
Place is small, tight and always a line, as well a hard to find a parking space.
PARKING TIP
Park in Bass Pro Shop Lot across the street. They give 1 hour free, just go in and buy a soda and they validate, so no parking problem anymore. Nice quiet place to eat your lunch.
NOTE
Taking (6) 18" Subs back to North Carolina, we love them so much. I brought a 48 gallon cooler just for White House Subs.

We haven’t been to Dock’s in several years. The decor has been updated but the menu thankfully remained in tact. We sat at the piano bar before dinner and the server was tremendous; genuinely warm and pleasant. We then had dinner in the downstairs dining area. Starting with clams casino that was prepared using fresh peppers and seasoned just right. The lobster tail is huge and cooked to perfection. Also ordered lamb that was quite good. No room for dessert but we did take a slice of key lime pie with us.

This was our 2nd visit to Chef Vola's. Reservations are hard to come by so book well in advance. The building is unassuming, looking like a typical seashore home. A single door opens onto an enclosed porch from which you are greeted and directed upstairs or downstairs. Downstairs reminded me of family dinners growing up Italian. It looks like someone's basement rec-room, set up to accommodate visiting family members for a holiday dinner. The decor is typical
Italian with pictures of Sinatra and scenes from famous Mob Movies. The server approach is team oriented, but our lead server was Lisa, a good natured, friendly, accommodating lady who amazed us with the ease with which she recited the numerous specials, options and explained the preparations. She was excellent! We started with the Stracciatelli Soup. That was a great choice and served piping hot. Next we enjoyed the house salad, served family style. Again, excellent. The menu is large and varied, with uniquely prepared pastas, fish, beef, veal and chicken dishes.
Variations are offered with each dish. My wife ordered the Orange Roughy. My Sister-in-law the Chicken Parm. My brother and I both ordered the pasta in Bolognese sauce. He chose the Angel Hair. I chose the penne. We both ordered a meatball and veal sausage with our entrees. All meals looked like works of art when presented. They were hot, and smelled irresistible. We ate enthusiastically! No one finished their entree. We all took boxes home. Desserts were as varied as the entrees. From Limoncello Cheesecake to Gelato (I had a scoop each of the Salted Caramel and Chocolate). Since it is a BYOB, the price is amazingly low for such a first class dinner. We will return. Our compliments to the Chef.

Buddakan has been called “a temple of modern Asian cuisine.” But it’s also a testament to the possibilities of inspired design. Upon entering, the first thing one sees is the surreal Asian garden surrounded by multi-level archways and 25-foot trees that seem to grow through rocks, footbridges and the ceiling itself. The dramatic atmosphere and enchanting karma is enhanced by the presence of a gigantic Golden Buddha that watches over the entire restaurant from a head of a 24-foot communal dining room table. The menu portrays an innovative interpretation of Asian Cuisine that matches the ambience in terms of creativity, inspiration and its capacity to satisfy. A delectably imaginative fusion of Chinese, French and Asian styles that results in dishes that exotic yet comforting – all prepared with perfectionist attention to the smallest detail. Buddakan’s spectacular yet dreamlike ambience adds a new dimension to the array of destinations at the Pier at Ceasars.
Let me first start off by complementing both Jordan and Sebastian who were wonderful waiters for us that evening. The food was simply awesome. Do the tasting menu you won't be disappointed! Decor and presentation were amazing we will be back without hesitation the next time we visit. Truly spectacular!

First of all, nothing was bad at all about my experience here. Service was fine, food was fine. We were sat at a table between the door and the women's bathroom, but understandable cause the place was very busy. I just don't understand the popularity because the food was just so-so. The grits and homefries were super plain and barely seasoned. The famous pancakes were okay but nothing to write home about. If this is the best breakfast Atlantic City has to offer, it's going to be a long week.
