If Southern food is prepared knowledgeably and with love, it is a great experience. Magnolia 23 is proof of that. Add in the fact that the owner and all servers are genuinely friendly and unusually attentive, and this place is an experience not to be missed. We had the fried chicken and country style steak. Both were good quality, well prepared, and flavored just enough. The yams, crowder peas, pinto beans with onion, and collards also really stood out. The cornbread was good, not great ... could have been thicker and moister. Prices very reasonable. Popular; we came early to avoid the crowd, and 15 minutes after we got there, it was full. Highly recommend.

For Labor Day Weekend, we are giving our wonderful staff some well-deserved rest. The Table (Asheboro) will be closed Sunday, Sept. 3-Wednesday, Sept. 6. We will re-open at our normal hours on Thursday, Sept. 7.
A local recommended The Table to us and we loved it! The food was delicious and we loved the restaurant itself. Between us we ordered a cinnamon roll with cream cheese icing, a baguette platter, fries, and a smashed BLT. We loved everything. The food arrived very quickly.

I picked up a selection of donuts and specialty pastries late in the day, so several items were not available. This didn't matter because everything is delicious. The filled Bavarian and the apple fritters are to die for, so don't even start eating them unless you hate your heart. Seriously, this place is amazing.

Mike's Chicago Dog (and more!) offers authentic Chicago style Hot Dogs, Polish Sausage and Italian Beef. We also offer a great southern Carolina Dog, a Meatball with Cheese Sub, a very tasty Chicken Salad, Supreme Tamales, homemade Chili with Beans, Pepsi products and the coldest beer in town.
Mike has a great little spot in the heart of downtown serving up his signature Chicago style dogs. He gets all the ingredients to make them authentic. There is plenty more on the menu to check out as well. Worth a visit for sure.

It's my desire that every trip to di'lishi be a wonderful experience for everyone who comes in, so this review hits all my happy buttons! :) <3

Made decision to return as previous dining experience was excellent. Again, our dinner was outstanding. The Fondue appetizer is a must! Great craft beer selection. Pork Shank was delicious. Everyone in our dinner party enjoyed their meal. Perfect casual atmosphere to conduct business with fine dining.

This place has the best wings of anywhere around. They are huge, and how they get the skin so crispy is beyond me. But you can't find better. Every dish they serve is great, and usually enough for two meals. They have actual NY style pizza, so if you are like me and have no desire to go north of the Mason Dixon line, you can sample it here. The owners are down to earth, hard working folks, and they serve up some fine food!

Stopped by here for dinner after a staff member at the nearby zoo recommended it to us. I am so glad he did! They have a variety of burgers and hot dogs as well as home cooked meats and vegetables that taste like they came straight from grandma's kitchen. The food was delicious, and the staff was very friendly. It was so good that I bought a second meal to take home for the next day. The price was great as well. Less than $40 for 4 people to eat, and for the extra meal I took home.
