We recently stayed here on a bicycle trip along the Danube. We came in soaked because it had rained on us all day, and the hotel owner greeted us and immediately gave us our room. The room was actually a 2 room suite, with wonderful views of the valley. It was warm, the beds were very comfortable, and it had everything we needed to dry our clothes out for the next day's ride. We ate in the restaurant that evening, and were not disappointed. The food was excellent, but the wine was some of the best we've had. It was very romantic, and they put us in the back room at the back booth, which we loved. The breakfast, which was included, was very good, with more than everything we needed.

We had a lovely meal-so difficult to eat in Austria if you don't eat meat. Food, atmosphere and service were great. As Brits it is astonishing to find smokers inside a restaurant, but an attempt was made to separate us. Maybe Austria will catch up with the rest of Europe?

This is a 4* hotel so you're not going to get all of the things you might want- room service, fancy accommodation etc., but this aside this hotel is lovely. Rooms were clean, the bed comfortable and the food and vibe in the restaurant and bar with a rolling fire was just lovely! Manager and all the staff were friendly and helpful.
And the best part was the beautiful Gardens, views and the SWIMMING POND!!! Beautiful pool that is joined to a pond so you can literally go swimming with the frogs! It was such a wonderful and unique experience and we had gorgeous weather for it. It's about half an hour's drive out of Linz but very worth it to be in the quiet beautiful countryside.
It's a unique property and we didn't want to leave!

Local fish prepared in top quality! Probably one of the best fish restaurants in the area. Top qualiy/price ratio. Very friendly service and atmosphere. Great restaurant! Go and visit!!!

Service teilweise zu schnell Suppe noch nicht fertig kam schon der Hauptgang aber alles in einen sehr gut und empfehlenswert.

Wir feierten dort den 60er meines Vaters. In einem Extra-Stüberl hat man Platz für ca. 50 Personen. Es gibt selbstgemachten Apfelsaft oder Most. Aber natürlich auch Bier, Wein oder Anti-Alk-Getränke. Zum Essen gab es ein Ripperl, Schweinsbraten, Schnitzel, gebackene Hühnerteile, warmes Sauerkraut, Knödel, Erdäpfel in Buffetform. Ein absoluter Traum. Vor allem die Ripperl waren unglaublich. Den Kuchen konnten wir selber mitnehmen - den Kaffee gabs vom Wirt. Alles in allem ein super Lokal! Im Sommer kann man auch draussen sitzen, und es gibt eine KInderecke für die Kleinen.

I agree the "cremeschnitte" is one of the best anywhere. A real Austrian style cheesecake, light flakey and creamy. The Frankfurter is of very high quality not a typical hot dog. Never had a bad snack or Pastry here. Worth visiting.

This family operated restaurant offers good dishes, amongst it a splendid "burger" and a wide range of pizzas. Reasonable prices, friendly service, good location near the town of Eferding.
