We visited on a Monday morning (just after Labor Day) with our three year old.
I read about the palace diner on a blog I follow and was expecting a line. To our surprise we only had to wait ten minutes.
No kids menu but the staff happily made a half portion of pancakes (with chocolate chips!) for our son. My husband and I ordered a sandwich, omelet and a side of French toast. Everything was fresh, not greasy, delicious and good sized portions (but not grotesquely big).
Most importantly our service was just lovely. So friendly and cheerful and keen to please. What a wonderful breakfast!
Note: there are no booths just seats at the counter and couldn't see restrooms. Also check their hours as not open all day.
If you're in the area this is a must do.

Ice cream was good at a decent price. I had the butter maple pecan and it was delicious. My wife had the coffee heath and wasn't a big fan only because it didn't have a good coffee flavor. But I thought it was alright. All in all it was pretty good.

We were touring Maine and leaf peeping when we stopped in Kennebunkport. A previously read about ice cream location had closed for the season and we saw Rococo. Our group of 5 took advantage of their offers of "tastes". There were MANY tempting flavors. Though a little pricey the servings were DELICIOUS and generous. The small offers 2 flavors and a sugar cone.

It was a rainy November on the Maine turnpike and hungry. We realized that the Village Tavern was open and close by (Dinner from 4PM). Arriving shortly after 4:30pm on a Monday 2nd week of November, a few tables and a couple of bar seats were occupied at this time. Shortly after people started to file in. Service friendly bar staff.
Tastings:
Cornmeal crusted scallops BLT salad with maple balsamic vinaigrette. Unusual combination but good. Score 3*
Coconut crusted Haddock fish fingers (3) over fresh spinach, ginger garlic mashed potato as a side, served with a nice tasting sweet chili remoulade. Surprising good. Score 4*
Pan seared schrod fillet with yellow curry and aromatic vegetables. Nice and warming curry which worked very well with the schrod. Score 4* We ordered herbed wild rice pilaf with this dish.
A side of grilled seasonable vegetables (asparagus, red onion, zucchini, red pepper) - cannot go wrong with this for $5!
(* We rate the dishes we try on a scale from 1-5, 5 being outstanding.)

Been to Bentleys many times and always a decent time. Today I took a few friends, it was Lola's birthday. We decided to eat inside, service sucked, food took 50 minutes to get to our table, my friends burger was raw, another friend ordered a sampler platter and they forgot to put the chicken in it, everything on the platter was greasy, fried in oil that was old and needed to be changed. Another person got a burger that was OK, I got pulled pork sandwich, wasn't like the ones I remembered getting there before, the onion rings were fried in the same old oil and where not good. I only ate it cause I was starving after waiting so long for the food. We sent back the raw burger and the greasy platter, and did not get anything else. On the way back to NH one of my friends got sick and vomited, and my stomach is upset. I like the place but will NEVER eat there again. I'm kind of embarrassed after talking the place up to my friends, they expected a great time not rushing home to their porcelain thrown.

We had the nicest experience here at this restaurant. The baked goods were sublime especially the cherry macarons. We will be stopping again the next time we visit the area. Tucked back in a corner of Kennebunk, we walked to here with friends for breakfast. What a treat. The croissants are buttery and delicious. The Sweet rolls are cinnamony and gooey on the inside. It had a steady stream of customers and the staff stayed pleasant and upbeat, that really stood out. Only criticism, coffee was average at best. On the plus side, they had a very cute outside patio to enjoy the beautiful summer weather.

Enjoy our charcuterie, pizzas, salads and European-inspired small plates in our intimate dining room or on our seasonal outdoor patio.
The wine selection is great, and it's even fun to sit at the bar. The small plates have a Mediterranean flavor, which was welcome after a vacation comprising two solid days of lobster (not that I'm complaining). It felt date-y, urban yet not, overall a...MoreThanks for coming in, and for writing all those nice words ... Please come back and see us soon.

A very comfortable and funky cafe in downtown Biddeford, which can use everyone's patronage to keep it lively! The staff is so friendly, there's plenty of room to stretch out and relax, and the biscuit sandwiches are so large that it could not fit into my mouth. Try the homemade sausage and smoked cheddar on one. Coffee's good too.

I've been here a few times for breakfast. Food is always plentiful and good. Took the family over the weekend and all of us agree that we will come back often. Was a busy time and few open tables but were still able to find a table. Home fries a bit under done, just ask for them to cook a bit longer and they will be great. No real sense of urgency with the staff, but they were available if you needed something. They serve dinner as well and you can BYOB. Haven't tried dinner yet, have to do that soon.
