A family run restaurant and bakery in business for the past 37 years and still cooking! A menu of mouth-watering American and Spanish dishes, we serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert.
The service and atmosphere we’re definitely five stars . The portions of food where large the food was adequate but could’ve been more flavorful . However the overall experience was excellent . I would go back and possibly try some other dishes

I had the tamale plate and it was delicioso! Definitely recommended, but if it is cold or windy, try to get a seat inside rather than on the enclosed front porch. Also there is outside seating for warmer days. Everyone absolutely loved their food. Muy rico!

I've been to the Taos Cow many times and this time was a special trip up from Santa Fe. The sandwiches are huge and delicious, along many local breakfast entrees. Best of all, of course, are the ice cream flavors; especially recommended is the Mexican chocolate, but the flavors may change throughout the seasons. The are picnic tables under the trees, tables inside, and along the outside for a very pleasant experience. The shops around the street are lovely, and worth a stroll.

Stopped here after lunch with my brother. Super friendly batista. Very well pulled espresso. Gelato and pastries looked great, but we didn't try any this visit. Only downside was no cards (cash/check only) and I didn't see the sign until after we ordered. So had to run across the street to the atm (and paid more in fees than our coffee).
Will go again...but with cash.

How lucky are we residents of Arroyo Seco to have this jewel of a restaurant in our little village? It's a casual place, like everything else in Arroyo Seco, but the food is anything but casual. It's sophisticated in its preparation and presentation, and delicious. I went with friends and ordered the pasta special. The pasta is made fresh every day; in this case, fettuccine was tossed with waxed peppers and mushrooms in a glorious garlic wine and cream sauce. My friends ordered chicken and waffles and the pork chop with charred peaches. We were all very, very pleased with our selections, and delighted in sharing them with one another. If you are looking for a farm to table experience and want sophisticated cuisine in a comfortable and friendly environment, by all means make a reservation and go to Aceq. You'll be very glad you did.

Food was good. We had burgers and fries, burgers excellent. We had a friend with us who is vegan, one vegan selection on menu. He was able to remove cheese from quinoa salad to make vegan. Our other friend ordered shrimp and grits, just OK she said. Had weird pickled veggies on it which she didn't like. Calamari was very good!
Service was good our waiter was a little snooty. Didn't check on us and we had to wait for the check and for it.
Outdoor area is great with outdoor bar and views of Taos mountain.

A favorite among locals and tourists alike, Gutiz serves creative Latin-French cuisine at affordable prices.
We stopped here for lunch and we very much enjoyed everything about our meal. Our waitress was attentive and service was quick. All our dishes were just delicious. I selected the andouille dish with eggs, potatoes and salad. My husband selected a dish with mushroom and eggs and he ate every bit of it. They also have delicious desserts and a large variety of truffles. This place is a gem and I strongly recommend it.

medley is the last name of chef/owners Colleen & Wilks — it's also a philosophy. medley. offers something good, for everyone: modern spins on nostalgic classics, craft cocktails and innovative desserts. Meet friends and family in our dining room, or join us in the medley. bar or either of our two outdoor patios for a laid-back scene, spectacular views of Taos Mountain and lawn games. The medley. wine shop offers a selection of over 500 wines, spirits and beers. If you’re joining us for dinner, the entire medley. wine shop selection is available to you. We’d love to help you find the pairing for your evening or for any occasion.
We had the most outstanding restaurant experience in our trip to Taos at Medley. I heartedly recommend their chicken (Wow!), their Trout (Again Wow!) and their wonderful Hamburger with pulled pork. We had Jenna as our waitress and she was extraordinary. All of this was accompanied by a fine wine list. You will find no better eatery in Taos for dinner.

As a Californian on a week-long vacation in the Taos area, I visited Ab’s twice. First time was for lunch at the food side. Wife Gretchen and I enjoyed taquitos and a beverage. I bought my Nuevo Beer (A Santa Fe brew) at the long traditional bar and took it to the dining area. My second visit was to find out if they would have the USC-Stanford football game on TV the next day. One of the Garcia gals did a search on the big screen, found the game would be on at 6 p.m. the next night. She said they would make sure I would see it. On this visit I met Abe Garcia, originator of the establishment. At 93 years he was sitting at the end of the bar, a place that has been his second home since 1974. He allowed me to snap his picture, kidding that it would cost $20. Abe served in the Army in Okinawa in 1943. A picture of him in uniform is one of many on his bar’s wall of fame. The Cantina is basically a working man’s saloon. There were three red pickups parked out front on my second visit. At the happy bar, I met one couple from Taos who drive the dozen miles regularly for a friendly brew at Abe’s. It’s a joyful place, prices are low, and the chatter of happy patrons is constant. Abe’s daughters run the kitchen side of the business and do a steady business with their chicken tacos and breakfast burritos being popular choices. Breakfast and lunch only!

We love the romantic atmosphere here, especially the old adobe and candlelight in the dining room. Our server was welcoming and knowledgeable about menu selections and specials of the day. There were lots of seasonal selections to choose from and a good variety of meat and vegetarian dishes. One of the best meals we've had in Taos to date -- definitely made us want to return.
