The Antofagasta Region (Spanish: Región de Antofagasta, pronounced [antofaˈɣasta]) is one of Chile's fifteen first-order administrative divisions. It comprises three provinces, Antofagasta, El Loa and Tocopilla. It is bordered to the north by Tarapacá and by Atacama to the south and is the second-largest region of Chile. To the east it borders Bolivia and Argentina. The capital of the region is the port city of Antofagasta, another important city being Calama. The main economic activity is copper mining in the giant porphyry copper systems located inland.

We walked in by chance one evening attracted by the open fire and busy restaurant. We ordered a pizza and salad, both of which were bland and tasteless. The wine that we ordered was also poor quality. Could not recommend this restaurant.

The food was ok but a bit pretentious - and quite expensive, but well, this is San Pedro. The atmosphere is nice, although the music is rather loud - but still nothing compared to the occasional “indios” with their loudspeakers that play and sing as if they were in a huge arena, honestly, what’s the need of a loudspeaker in a cozy little restaurant? It really breaks the experience :-(

Same owners as Adobe, similar menu, though somewhat different. Different buzz, much less busy, also an outdoor Seating area.

Someone mentioned the plates our large but not of good quality. I beg to differ. We both had the fish with vegetablrs and a salad on the side and it was a great and nutritious meal. On top of that the service was great and the atmosphere in the garden (with roof) was pleasant. Would go again!

Nice restaurant, not shi-shi, down to earth food, but very tasty. Limited options, one menu, 2-3 options per course. My main course chicken was great, next to me they had fish and were not satisfied - but maybe fish in the middle of a desert is not the best choice, there are not a lot of fishes swimming around SaN Pedro :-). Great prices!

This is an attractive venue with a charming courtyard in addition to indoor dining. The food was delicious and the staff was very attentive. The portions were good sized and the drink choices were plentiful. Definitely one of the best places in town to try.

This Peruvian restaurant is a very nice place for a dinner. The personal is super nice and the atmosphere great. I had a sea food rice with a local fish. Nice but a bit too salty in my opinion. I took as well the home made ice tea, nice but nothing special.

Bolognaise was grossly under seasoned and lacking in flavours that all the condiments provided on the table (chili flakes, oregano, salt and pepper) didn't help. My partner ordered a neapolitan pizza which was better as they make it fresh but nothing to rave about. Would give this a miss.

Chelacabur is the only bar in town and it only serves beer. It is not fancy, but is a place to go to relax, socialize and people watch. Both locals and travellers go here and you get an excellent pizza from Pizzeria El Charrua delivered to the table.

Went for lunch. We wanted their speciality salads. (Grilled chicken). The salads were ok - the service was not good. Pity as we would have gone back for a dinner if made more welcome.
