We arrived here travelling, with some detours, towards Fiumicino, hoping to find a good restaurant to end our trip in a memorable way. We couldn't find a better place. What an excellent restaurant! Fine food with fresh ingredients, impeccable service, beautiful location. Although I don't like Deserts, I will never forget this divine cannolo! I'm grateful to them for this unforgettable experience!

We are on lake in old town of Anguillara Sabazia with outdoor tables view and quiet place. You could find local cuisine , lake fish, sea fish and sea food.
I thoroughly enjoyed everything - from the delicious food straight out of the Lake Bracciano, to the extremely polite and accommodating service and staff. They went above and beyond! It truly was a wonderful meal and I will definitely recommend it, as well as return to it when I am next in this town!

Out of the way less than 40 km from Rome. This was a great town to recharge the batteries and this was a very good spot to relax, eat and drink after a stroll around the lakeside and markets.
The menu was simple but varied and well prepared. The atmosphere was relaxed and casual. 50 m from the shore and 150 m from our apartment.

Love the location on the beach (or a wooden Terrace just above it for those who don't like walking on sand), serves for a very nice atmosphere in the evening and at sunset. Great food with some very interesting and unusual combinations

We were really looking forward to dinner when we went to La Terazza but we didn't go back. My husband's main was not cooked properly and when the waiter removed the almost untouched meal, he didn't even have the curtesy to ask what was (obviously) wrong with it. The sides we ordered to share were not even enough for a single portion, more a tasting plate and it was on the dear side for what we had.

We came back again before we left Rome, and brought our Roman friends with us for another pranzo here - They once again exceeded our expectations, but it was our Roman friends were really blown away - they could not believe that two Americans had discovered this gem of an exceptional Roman Trattoria. We started by sharing an antipasto - but it wasn't just the normal array of meats and cheeses - these were all unique selections from local producers, of the absolutely highest quality - and served with a selection of homemade condiments that brought it to another level. The carbonara with asparagus was exquisite, and all of the fish entrees, with fish right out of the lake were as well. I especially enjoyed the fish with agrumi (citrus) sauce that was inspired. And don't pass up the dessert - they are all homemade, and all fantastic. The crostata was the best thing I have ever put in my mouth - and that was rivaled by the tiramisu with fresh strawberries and the panna cotta.
This extraordinary meal, is matched by the warmest, friendliest service, and charming environment. The decor is charming and lovely - and they also have a wonderful Terrace for outdoor dining, but it was too cool when we went.
This trattoria goes beyond top marks in every category - with a price that is half of what we pay for a lesser meal in Rome. Our Roman friends each took several cards to pass along to their friends - and we will certainly be back often as well!

At the end of 14 days in Anguillara and looking for somewhere different to go for lunch. Chanced upon Vecchio Salus. Great house wine. Generous antipasti. Fantastic gnocchi with mushroom and recommended spaghetti a la vongole. Great puddings of tiramisu and pannacotta. Only one draw back we were unable to split the bill. Two friends eating one paying cash and one paying on a card. What is so difficult about that? Well a lot apparently in Italy I was told! Come on we are in the 21st century you are surely able to split a bill!

Having eaten in several lakeside restaurants around Bracciano we tried this one for sunday lunch and discovered a gem. It is smaller than most restaurants, adn more basic in decor, but the menu is among the most interesting (if not extensive) we have seen and the food was excellently prepared. The family staff are helpful and attentive and we truly enjoyed ourselves in the little friendly trattoria. In the end we were well fed, relaxed and the bill was surprisingly cheap.

The interior of the restaurant is one of nicest in Anguillara if not the nicest. We had Bruschetta al pomodoro, suppli with cheese and pepper and two pizze. We were a little disappointed by the bruschetta which was rather dry and a little more garlic and salt would have done wonders. The suppli and the pizze were very good but I like the dough of the pizza a little thinner. However I can not confirm the experience of other writers here that it tasted like reheated. Service was friendly. Overall, I have eaten better before but much worse as well.
