The soup(chicken tortellini) and sandwich(turkey ruben) I enjoyed for lunch was very tasty. My companion had the burrito special that looked terrific as well. The food was fresh and we will definitely be back soon!

The baked goods were delicious and affordable. Well worth the stop. All the baked goods are made on site. We were biking the Tomorrow River Bike Trail and could not buy any more items to take home with us. We'll definitely come back by car to get some.

Stopped into this local coffee roaster during their tasting room hours. Cute rustic decor, in a small town, with art studios/galleries nearby. Bakery available from local Main Grain bakery. Hours Saturday and Sunday mornings check listings for times.

So I am a road warrior and this is my first visit to the area. I asked some locals and it was funny how many people suggested the Wheelhouse for their Monday night pizza buffet. I was out sightseeing before dinner and happen to drive by the wheel house and noticed the cars were already gathering in the parking lot around 4:30 when I returned it 5 minutes before 5 when the buffet starts you would have thought it was free food day or something with all the cars in the parking lot. The decor of the restaurant is fun and lots to look at. The wait staff was very accommodating and friendly. The buffet is quite simple about eight different pizzas and a bowl of garlic bread all for only about $8 I believe I know before tip the buffet and an iced tea was less than $10. If you're in the area for a number of evenings and looking for somewhere local with plenty of people watching, I strongly suggest the Wheelhouse I think you'll be happy

Arrived before 5 pm. Was seated promptly and ordered an appetizer of fried cheese curds that were amazing. Salad was disappointing with wilted and mushy lettuce but that's not why I was there. Ordered the walleye fried fish and was not disappointed! Lightly battered and larger than the plate. Never would have expected such wonderful fish from the outside appearance! It's another "must" and you won't be disappointed! But remember, go early!

driving from Waupaca to Wausau on a hot day and stumbled upon this place looking to purchase something cold to drink. They had several flavors to choose from and I decided on Espresso Cookie Crunch. YUM.

This is a great eating establishment in a small community. Breakfast here is reasonably priced and taste great! It's clean and the staff is very friendly. They make you feel at home. The building is nice and clean with a old style décor which make s me feel welcome. I stop when ever I can and will continue to do so.

As a country bar & grill (super club) it's O.K.. The atmosphere was just that. The building was clean and presentable. The food was O.K.,. The menu sounded much better than the food ended up being but, in general it was O.K.. The beverages were out of the bottle so.....hard to change that. The staff seemed more interested in the txt messages on their phones than tending to the tables or people sitting at the bar. But, All-In-All, it was O.K. and I'll probably stop again when in the area but, wouldn't go out of my way.

We had a group of 13 people. The place is really beautiful inside and right on the river with a nice patio to overlook the view. The owner was easy to engage in conversation and made very good cocktails! Unfortunately, it ended there......
Our long dark haired server was a bit snippy, she auctioned off our food when it arrived, and plate clearing was minimal. Mind you, it was not busy! There was no butter on the table for the potatoes and condiments did not come with the food such as cocktail sauce and horseradish sauce. The salad bar was small but decent with a couple of soups. The food for what you get is quite overpriced! The baked potato was overcooked. Examples of overpricing for this location.....5 scallops for $19.95? A seafood platter for $32.95?? Yikes!!
I was hoping to go back the next morning for breakfast but we changed our minds. I hope the owner reads this and takes note.

We eat here as a last resort when we are busy with kids sports. The area where they prepare sandwiches is normally dirty. Many times we have gone the vegetables have been dropped in other bins during the day and left to lay in the wrong container. They usually only have 1 or 2 types of breads when we go and have pizzas about half the time. If you walk by the soda machine be prepared to stick to the floor. Being in a small town you don't have many options. If there was something else fast I would never eat here. The last time we went there were a lot of fruit flies flying around the vegetables. Not just a couple but dozens. Really turned us off and haven't been back.
