Returned here after several years and found the place to be vibrant and the food really good. Excellent prices and great service. Thank you for adding a special touch for my birthday given you were not made aware of this beforehand.
Can definitely recommend The Dalmore and will certainly return soon.

The Restaurant is in an ideal location, close by the river and playpark you can walk off your meal or spend the day by the river and pop upto Cargills for lunch. The service is always outstanding and the food is done to a very high standard. Cargills is our family favourite in town and even surrounding areas. Highly recommended.

This is a mediocre Indian restaurant. Starters were dull and pakora barely edible, it was so overdone. The main courses were edible but lacking in flavour- certainly not the 'spicy' from the menu.
The waiting time was ridiculous. We arrived shortly after seven and it was almost ten before we 'escaped' - we didn't wait for coffee!
Fortunately the company was good!

Started out having a look round the Gift Shop, packed with lots of interesting items from lovely soft Cashmere ponchos in autumn colours to Flavoured Gin ideal for xmas presents. The Felt pictures featuring the sheep were beautiful and the many unique craft items to browse. On through to the the Bric a Brac upcycled furniture another great look round , then onto the cafe for a treat of lunch had the Carrot and Courgette Soup (highly recommend) with home made bread and a super fruit scone and pot of tea to end a lovely visit. The owner lady was very chatty and friendly so all in all my friend and I enjoyed our day at Peel Farm.

We drove up from Dundee for a first visit to The Old Cross Inn and had lunch in the lounge bar. It is a bit misleading to call it a bar lunch because the menu and quality of food would have not been out of...MoreThank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review. I am glad you enjoyed your meal here with us at The Old Cross. Thank you for the lovely feedback and I shall pass this onto all the staff. Kind Regards, Kelly

Multi-Award Winning Coffee Shop in the centre of bustling East Perthshire town of Blairgowrie
I recently visited the wee coffee shop for a highlander cooked breakfast. The breakfast was hot and delicious, but the fried egg was over cooked (yolk hard). The service was very friendly as always and the venue was very clean.

Open to the public and I have never seen a restaurant in a golf centre as busy as this one. Packed and really good.
The food at the Strathmore Golf Centre was exactly what I expected, it was of good standard well presented and tasty. I had chicken stuffed with haggis (Balmoral Chicken) my wife had salmon and my son had a hot dog. The vegetables were perfectly cooked, still had some crisp and very well presented.
As a visitor I would like to have seen some more info on the website about the restaurant as a posed to just the club house (serving times, menu etc) we were not sure of anything when we pulled up as we don’t make a habit of eating at golf courses.
The website stated dress code seems to be ignored, not a bad thing. And kids are well catered for. All in, a good place for a family meal.

Always have a cheese scone here , they are enormous & sometimes take 1/2 home with me for later ( too good to share ) , coffee hot & strong as requested & served with a smile . We were there on a brief flying visit or would have had a bowl of soup , choice of 2 every day & the sweet potato & red pepper looked & smelt awesome ! .... cosy with the wood burner on , tables & sofas to relax on ... wide selection of tray bakes & cakes which all looked scrummy & my friend had the rocky road type one which was devoured & loved

Yet another great night out with great food. This time the "special" of wild boar shank served with black pudding mash, roasted veg, and a cider sauce was absolutely outstanding, and as usual we were so well looked after by David and his team. Roll on the next visit!
