My partner and I visited Fresh Chilli on a Friday night for dinner and upon leaving the restaurant we both declared never again!
So crowded and noisy to start with, the waitresses kept trying to deliver everyone else’s food to our table and the food was disappointing.
My partner ordered the satay chicken sticks to start and they were like eating old boots.
My Tom Yum on the other hand was delicious.
We then ordered the red duck curry which was also delicious but the coconut rice was truly horrible. Sloppy and runny and tasting of pure sugar, it was inedible.
Hit and miss with the food and overall a fairly bad experience, taking into account the noise, incorrect deliveries of food to our table and overcrowding.
We won’t be returning and could not honestly recommend anyone else tried it out.

The food here is excellent and nicely presented. Very tasty. Both dining areas are good to eat in. Fun to try the low tables at the back with their footwells and cushions. Service is good and the staff are efficient, smiling and helpful. Do takeaways as well. Home Delivery as well, I think. Recommended.

This is a restaurant we have been coming to for a number of years. We have seen it blossom from a basic little cafe to a lovely restaurant. The owners have spent a lot of time and energy creating a fabulous atmosphere and a wide a tasty menu. The prices are very reasonable and the serving sizes are generous. The chicken wings entree is a favourite for our family my husband can't go past the curries - his only decision is red, green or yellow? My favourite meal is Chicken and Plum sauce although there are many delicious choices. The staff are friendly and attentive and the service is efficient and timely. Check out their Facebook pages as they often have special offers.

Go to Stella's every week or two for pasta or pizza. Last night we ordered our normal family pizza for dine in, to be told that family pizzas are only for take away. Complaining allowed us to have our pizza one last time. Next time may order takeaway and then eat in. Need the beers.

I chose a vegetarian Zaatar and a coffee and both were good. My Zaatar had pumpkin, spinach, red capsicum, zucchini, eggplant and olives. It was delicious and very filling. I was impressed with the wide variety of food for dining in or taking away. It included sandwiches, focacie, pastries, cakes, muffins, quiches. The only downside was that with many hard surfaces, it was a bit noisy.

A taste of Italy in the heart of Altona! At Pier 71 Bar e Cucina we pride ourselves on preparing our dishes using traditional Italian methods. Our pizza dough is made from the same flour used in the finest pizzerias in Italy and is hand-stretched by our pizzaiolo. Combining tradition with technology, we use a wood-fired, stone-base rotating oven, imported directly from Italy. Our pizzas are baked at 400 degrees Celsius ensuring even cooking throughout. Pier 71 Bar e Cucina serves authentic Italian cuisine seven days a week. Our fresh ingredients are sourced from local suppliers, to create traditional Italian favourites on our menu including delicious pasta, risotto and antipasto, mouth-watering desserts and pastries and of course, the signature stone oven pizzas. Pier 71 Bar e Cucina is available to book for private functions and regularly hosts live music events and has a sunny, smoke-free rear courtyard, best enjoyed with a glass of vino and good company. Bellissimo!
It is one of the few places in town you can actually get a beer or wine. I opted for a rose wine which although was very nice it was a bit pricey. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Normally pop in here when...MoreWe appreciate your feedback. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.

I enjoyed the food. My order was Vegetable Spring Rolls of course with the Iceberg Lettuce, Vietnamese Mint and Sweet Chilli Dipping Sauce, followed by the Chicken Pho, from Chicken Stock included rice noodles fresh white chicken pieces and dumplings it was delicious. My friend had the combination fried rice. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. I have been to some Vietnamese Restaurants and the meat is grey from a poaching method, thats why I wrote about the fresh chicken pieces. The gentleman greeted us with a very welcoming smile and gave us a chose of table. He is very chatting so if you want a quiet time just tell him. But we enjoyed his conversation and is happiness is contagious. I returned the next night with my husband. I recommend.
