Reddy's uses Boars Head deli meats and stuffs the sandwiches high! Try the macaroni salad...our daughter won't eat any other kind.

Our friend loves Jennettes (called Rosettes here) and hubby and I got almond horns, biscotti, and sfagliatelle. Everything is made fresh daily and it shows in their taste. Had I not had a full tummy, the gelato looked very tempting! This place never disappoints!

Athos was voted one of the 100 Best Greek Restaurants in America by The National Herald. Casually elegant, Athos serves only the very freshest seasonal ingredients, lovingly brought together using time-honored recipes and techniques, like clay pot cooking, and whole fresh fish-filleted table-side.
When in Albany, it is worth your while to eat here. Close to the Crossgates Mall with ample parking- the service is great, plentiful seating and delicious fare. We made last minute reservations for 5 for Sunday night and were immediately seated around 6:30pm. We shared appetizers and a lamb meal, a fish dinner filleted at the table, and even enjoyed some prix fixe in our selections. We all agreed that we would recommend and return again. Also, kudos to Charlie our server for his suggestions and patience. Well done!!

Found this place while passing through the area. Interesting restaurant. Food was pretty good. Hush puppies an onion rings were tasty, pulled pork was pretty good, fries were yummy, chicken nuggets were good, but the best thing I had was the cornbread. It was outstanding and I am not a big cornbread guy.

I enjoyed a "dinner box" of dumplings, sushi rolls, shrimp tempura and chicken teriyaki. It came with either soup or salad. I chose the miso soup. Service was excellent, food was hot and fresh and very enjoyable. The restaurant is small and it was packed. People coming in for take out also. I will definitely go back!

Delicious! Wonderful atmosphere. Great staff. Great place for a dinner party. The chicken marsala is hands down the best dish.

Quaint, cozy and nostalgic restaurant with all the WWII memorabilia you can imagine. I also take my Home Exchange visitors here when they are traveling from their home in Europe.
Breakfast and Lunch are daily but dinner is only Friday nights. They do close late afternoons. Food is good and the price is right! You can BYOB to dinner because no liqueur is served. Bring a photo, postcard etc. and they will display it!
Only drawback, once you are seated, sometimes it takes a long time to be served. So be ready to enjoy your company or bring the newspaper! But worth a visit!!!!
Check website for days open and times.

Now known as Armando’s Villa Tuscan. I typically judge the caliber of an Italian eatery by the quality of their Bolognese. Tonight’s Rigatoni Bolognese was truly outstanding. The sauce was super delicious, the pasta perfectly cooked al dente. Props to the chef. My mates were quite pleased with their various dishes as well. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We got to eat at the bar to enjoy banter with the wonderful bartender and other customers. The decor is rather old-school. I was counting on discovering superior Italian food here, and after one day in town, I am confident that we did!

Ferrari's restaurant is very Italian and the atmosphere reminds me of sunday dinners at my late Italian mother-inlaws home. All the wine and various home made pasta dishes you would require for a family meal are available. The table service and food was very good.My wife ,daughter,son-inlaw and grandkids enjoyed a relaxing dinner. My wife and daughter are vegetarians so they enjoyed the non meat offerings such as Minestra ,and rabe..I enjoyed the ravioli and veal dishes.
