The Pearl of the Mediterranean has an ambiance more in keeping with its neighbors to the north than with those in the Middle East. Site of Pharos lighthouse, one of the Wonders of the World, and of Anthony and Cleopatra’s tempestuous romance, the city was founded by Alexander the Great in 331 BCE. Today, Alexandria offers fascinating insights into its proud Greek past, as well as interesting mosques, the casino strip of the Corniche, some lovely gardens and both modern and traditional hotels. Here you can get the best coffee in Alexandria and if you have a sweet tooth, you'll sure enjoy their nice desserts. You can also buy different kind of coffees to make at home, the best I tried is the spicy coffee with cardamon; it's more expensive than other places but well worth it.

One of the Best Egyptian food you can try, kabab and all kind of meat with the best Egyptian salad. You have to try Fatah and grilled chicken

Balbaa village is always my no. 1 destination whenever i go to Alexandria. serving the best food at very reasonable prices made its rivals stand no chance.
I was there a couple of days ago, the food was still great, but the prices were unsettling, and if you're a hygiene freak, it's just not for you.

A good place for a westerner looking for a familiar meal. The chicken was good, but I really liked how they did the bread. I spent three weeks in Egypt and didn't come across it done the same way.
And the view of the Fort is very nice. As well as the view of the cats sitting on the wharves waiting for the fisherman to return. :)

Despite its lively energy and bright, colourful décor, Fresca is actually an ideal place to unwind. Pizza, salad, and panini join the menu alongside lighter snacks. Overlooking a bustling city street and the calm Mediterranean, this Italian café caters to all moods. Take-out cakes and ice cream are available.
This spot is a favorite of our whenever we go to Alex (2nd to Starbucks ?). The place has a very nice view and staff members are super friendly. Only downside is noise as it's right on the crowded courniche.

This restaurant is on the second floor and you must sit by a window to get the beautiful view. We had an appetizer of four different dips with very fresh bread and they were all very good. For main dishes I had the whole fish, which was grilled just right. Warning though! There are lots of bones and if you do not like to pick the bones out, do not order it. The rest of us had a fish filet which was pretty good, but not outstanding. In other words, you really come for the view, not the food. However, BIG TIP...., Do not have dessert here. When you leave the restaurant and go down to the first floor and exit, there is an Egyptian bakery there to the right. The pastries are delicious. They are sold by weight and I suggest you get an assortment. They were the best part of the experience

We went on an improvised date at this restaurant. Pizza was great, the atmosphere is chilled and the music is very nice, never too loud. Service was precise and waiters were kind. The price is relatively high for Egypt but still definitely affordable for western standards! Highly recommended!

It was a party after a successful activity at our organization, it was a big party attended by more than 200 persons, in brief the service level was not as expected as a food quality, the service level, and the staff reaction actually it was a deep disappointment experience
