This little shop is located on the main street in Alexandria Bay. Interesting little shop specializing in fudge and ice cream. It was a hot afternoon when we stopped so we did not try their fudge, but really enjoyed two generous sized chocolate ice cream sundaes with extra chocolate syrup. Of note, their prices were surprisingly reasonable for a waterfront tourist town.

Gourmet coffee shop with full breakfast and lunch menu. All soups and chili and sauces are homemade. Paninis, deli sandwiches, weekly specials. Come enjoy our quaint cozy bistro with the best coffee and food in town
Cathy's really needs to learn how to make coffee. We don't like floor cleaning coffee, but , every day it lacked coffee house flavor and punch. We stayed in town for a week (we come up yearly). Breakfast is fast, decent and inexpensive. Which is what most people want. Inside its close and compact there is not much room and the serving line forms between the tables. Best bet is to grab something boxed and walk or drive to somewhere senic to eat.

There was an auction being held for a fundraiser the night we were there. It made for a noisy environment. The food was good as was the service.

Great ice cream at reasonable prices. I've been here several times over the years, and have consistently received quality ice cream and great customer service.

I have Celiacs disease and my restaurant options were questionable at Alexandria Bay. Kevin came out of the kitchen at Riley's and discussed options with me. He was very kind and gave me choices that he was comfortable preparing. I appreciate someone that asks questions when they aren't sure what gluten free or Celiac's entails. Samantha was extra sweet and patient as well. I have no complaints.

While in town for the bike rally and after enjoying the band downtown and a few adult beverages we decided to get some pizza. I stopped in for a quick slice and 1 of the young ladies was kidding with me and said you'll be back and she was right. A few minutes after I left I ran into another couple in our group and since they were hungry I suggested Josie's since I thought it was very good. The pizza was fresh and piping hot and very good, I've been here a few times the past couple of years and have always thought it was very good, highly recommended.

It has 9 Yelp reviews. We ate there on Wed this week.
Always enjoy this pub! Great food, prices, and service! We get here as often as possible. Burgers are the best in town! Love the variety of specials each day. The fries are to die for. No view of the water, but conveniently located.

This is a restaurant in the Riveredge Resort in Alexandria Bay. Serving Breakfast Monday through Saturday 7:00 am - 11:00 am and Sunday 7:00 am - 1:00 pm. Serving Lunch Monday through Saturday 11:30 am - 1:00 pm. Serving Dinner Monday through Sunday 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
Recently had lunch here and was seated next to front window where we had a nice view looking out at the river. I had a cheese burger that was very good and cooked the way I ordered it. It came with french fries that were cut differently than any I have ever seen before. Prices were pretty good considering this is a resort hotel. I will probably go there again for lunch.

The Kitchen is now closed for 2017.
Check back later or follow us on Facebook for updates in 2018!

Summer is for pleasure. For sunsets on terraces, shared meals on wooden tables, fresh produce, grilled foods, tinkling drinks... This summer is for The Kitchen, Alexandria Bay’s newest entry to our region’s late-blooming but much appreciated farm-to-table efforts. Cathryn (“Sam”) Munna is a California transplant who spent much of her childhood in Alexandria Bay. For ten years she’s run a bed and breakfast on Church Street, The Captain Visger House. Her renowned morning repast is the basis for a solid return business. She trialed a dinner service two summers ago, and quickly drew a following. This year Munna’s love of sophisticated, fresh, hand prepared cuisine has taken a marvelous direction. The Kitchen opened this week with a small plate dinner menu that showcases the earth’s bounty and Sam’s gorgeous culinary talent.
This place is a real gem and a long overdue addition to Alex Bay dining. The food is mostly small plates that are shareable for two people and 3-5 main course offerings. My wife and I shared 4 small plates and split one main course. Spectacular sauces! The bread imported from a bakery in Tribeca. The bar has a limited selection. This is a must try if you are looking for a fun meal. Sit outside in the garden if the weather is nice. No reservations... first come ... first served and it gets crowded quickly. We went at 5:30 PM and by 6:30 they were filled.
