Alcalá de Guadaíra (Spanish pronunciation: [alkaˈla ðe ɣwaˈðaiɾa]) is a town located approximately 17 km southeast of Seville, Spain; in recent years the expansion of Seville has meant that Alcalá has become a suburb of that city. Alcalá used to be known as Alcalá de los Panaderos (Alcalá of the Bakers) because it provided most of Seville's bread. The town is located on the banks of the Guadaíra River, and watermills built during the Moorish period of Spain can still be found in the area.

Brought here for lunch during a quick business trip in the area.
The food was absolutely fantastic with one of the best steaks I have ever tasted. I really enjoyed the selection of starters chosen (thank you Alberto from Moldtech) particularly the type of pancake with minced black pudding inside it.
Wine was excellent as was the service too. I could not recommend this establishment strongly enough and would love to return one day.
My thanks to Alberto for taking us here and of course the chef and staff for such a sumptuous meal.

A privileged place, 15 minutes from Seville, to enjoy a selection of tapas and A-la-carte options, also for celebrations, meetings and special occasions in a relaxed atmosphere and with the highest quality, in a natural environment. Attentive service in a space dedicated to sharing unique experiences for couples, with family or friends, enjoying large terraces and also unique spaces dedicated to the younger for the tranquility of adults.
While gourmet tapas have become the most popular fare at this location, the full meals are every bit as high quality. The starters and the desserts are made from recipes invented by the owner and should not be missed. This is where I take the most discriminating of my visitors when I want to impress them. The wine list includes a wide range of types of all qualities and the young owner, Antonio, is an expert. Trust his advice! Closed on Sunday evenings and Mondays.

We were travelling from Faro to Malaga and found this place from via Michelin. Looked like it was closed until you go inside full of locals. Owner didn't speak English so took what came . Superb !

Having seen a review of high praise in the Web, my wife and I dressed up and went here for lunch one Sunday last month. Hard to find, we finally arrived only to find this to be a nothing special restaurant with Formica/aluminum tables, noisy atmosphere not much space and really nothing to recommend it at first sight. We left it at that, without even Reading the menu.

The ambiance is warm and cozy, along with a friendly greeting by the owners, Jan & Dale. The food is all homemade, with incredibly good authentic tastes of the region. We started with garlic prawns as a "tapas" ...we were given 7 incredibly seasoned huge shrimp, that were delicious, the cost was only €6.50. The potatoe leek soup was delcious, as was the mixed seafood grill. This little bistro is not to be missed! We are staying at the Melia, and will definitely return for some more great food, and great value!

Small tapas bar where you can have a delicious dishes with a high quality standard and also a quite well variety of wines in a calm and pleaserous place
Delicious and original cooking, modern yet maintaining the idiosyncrasy of Andalusia and Seville, with tapas and plates elaborated with care using the best local products. Also a very original selection of excellent wines. Still, the best is that you get this great quality for a very good price!

Since its opening, Cynara has always strived to provide ground-breaking and flavoursome dishes, offering combinations rarely found in the more conservative outer-Seville region. Excellent wine list and first-class service combine to make the experience even more enjoyable.Cavster, thank you very much for your comment. We are delighted to have customers like you. We hope that in your next visits we can maintain your loyalty. A greeting.
