To be honest, besides my fondness for the town, I also couldn’t wait to go back to Cascais because of Santini. In short, they still have the best ice creams I’ve ever tried. I’d like to recommend a couple of flavors but they are all...MoreDear client, Thank you so much for your kind words and for the time you took to review your experience at Santini. If you need anything from us don't hesitate to ask! Kind Regards, Eduardo Santini

We ate in this restaurant after Reading the latest reviews.
We are very happy here. As we came very early the restaurant was empty when we arrived but filled during the evening.
The waiter was very friendly.
I had the entrecote with gorgonzola sauce, my girlfriend had the ravioli with spinach and ricotta. For starter we shared a Bruscetta. The waiter asked if we share it and brought it on to separate plates - very attentive.
My entrecote was huge, i couldn't eat it up though it was delicous very smooth, only thing to critizise is I ordered it medium rare and it came more like medium-well done.
The ravioli were good.
The plates arrived in a very high pace. So we almost didn't have any time between the courses and finished 30 minutes after entering the restaurant. So it was kind of a rush.
In conclusion a restaurant to recommend. Good food. Nice ambient.

I was also part of the group of 24 and everything was excellent. We were that impressed we were going to return but sadly could not fit in the return visit. Would recommend a visit.

The right place for a genuine Italian Gelato! Come and try our special flavors: scrock, nutella, oreo, kitkat and many others!
I'm a proclaimed fan of this ice cream shop. I always take the basic flavors as a guide line for the taste and quality of the ice cream. This my friends, is confidently the best ice cream in town ... make the challlenge and compare....MoreDear Guido! You are always welcome! Thanks for apreciating!

This is a normal "pasteleria" where you can buy correct (not outdtanding) sweets and also salted specials (rissois to heat up), this is ok.
Don't step in to sit down and have lunch here, food isn't up to the price asked and service doesn't care at all for the clients.
Just having a cake, sweet, dessert ... and a coffee should be ok.
It was crazy to observe that, in the morning of the 24th of December, tons of people were waiting in line to pick up their special Xmas cake (bolo rei)!!! I bet they waited over one hour :(
WATCH OUT if you park your car, don't forget to buy a ticket otherwise you'll get a fine. Often beggars or other people "selling stuff" (lotery tickets...) hang around on the sidewalk close to the entrance, police are chasing them away regularly...

House of Wonders has a building offering four floors and two entrances. On the ground floor is our vegetarian restaurant offering a fusion of Mediterranean and middle eastern cuisine, both hot and cold mezze, fresh and healthy vegetable dishes. Our Cafe Gallery is an artistic space where local artists show their works and where guests are welcome to browse and enjoy light dishes, tapas, cakes and hot & cold drinks. Our Cafe offers freshly squeezed juices and green drinks as well as alcoholic beverages and cocktails, a large selection of teas and international coffees. It has an entrance to our Rooftop, a popular open roof with a 360 degrees view. We are open all day every day from 10-22hrs.
I visited the restaurant twice and the customer service and experience was top
notch.During the day I visited the roof top Terrace with amazing views of Cascais and also visited the downstairs restaurant for the hot maze with a large party. The food is healthy, delicious and inspiring with some great combinations - you have to try the beetroot and strawberry juice, it's totally divine. It's great value day or night

Conceito Food Store With an elegant and comfortable space, located close to the city but far from the confusion , our main purpose is to create a unique experience of gastronomic discovery throughout the meal. We offer portuguese cuisine with contemporary influences and our open space kitchen works mainly with fresh products carefully selected in local markets and suppliers. We have our own gourmet store, where you can buy wine, jam and other products used on the confection of our dishes. Last but not least, we can also offer take-away, catering, workshops and brunch services. You can always count with the presence of our Chef, Daniel Estriga, that will welcome you like a friend, do his best to meet your expectations and is always available for a good chat. It is necessary to make reservation. We do not have Visa/Mastercard/Credit Card sistem!
Went for dinner. The location is odd but who really cares as inside it's very modern and we loved the open kitchen. The food is good to excellent (went for the five courses) at reasonable prices and the service very attentive and they actually really do care whether you like your meal. One thing we did not like was the cover charge of €2.20pp. We feel this belongs to cheap restaurants and although we are fully aware this is normal in Portugal and most Southern European countries, it just doesn't belong in a nice restaurant - just increase the prices a little.

I have installed Trip Advisor. Search a restaurant and this was the first one that appears. How luck I have! A typical Lisbon Restaurant without that fancy stuff. They have typical Portuguese food. They have typical Portuguese desert. The staff was superb! I recommend it!Thank you for your comment . And we hope a new visit. Best regards

We looked this up on tripadvisor and probably wouldn't have found it otherwise as its tucked away from the usual tourist restaurant area.
As it wasn't high season we chanced our luck and got a table without booking.. It's a very small restaurant.
The waitor was very friendly and quite a character.
We had the vegetarian curry and the dorada fish which was cooked whole.
Delicious food at reasonable prices.
Would definitely come here again on a return visit.

At Tapas we welcome customers as friends, and we give them the best. We offer a wide range of possibilities, like delicious Portuguese Tapas and Snacks, and Special dishes, as well as excelent portuguese wines. Live Music on fridays.
We visited this restaurant twice during our stay in Estoril. On our first visit, Abel (the owner) suggested several dishes, and we accepted all of his recommendations. Everything was delicious and was pleasantly different from what we expected it might be. We enjoyed our dinner so much we made Reservations for a few days later on the way out the door. On our second visit, we invited Abel to again recommend our dishes and again we were very pleased.
Reservations are definitely recommended as this is a very small restaurant. We saw several people turned away when they arrived without a reservation. Because the restaurant is small, there is a possibility that you might end up sitting in close proximity to your neighbors. This happened to us on our first visit, and we were lucky to sit next to a very nice couple which led to an evening of lively conversation over dinner. On our second visit we had a more private table, and the dinner experience was far more intimate. Great either way, but if you have a preference it would pay to ask when reserving your table.
Keep in mind that this is a tiny restaurant with an equally tiny kitchen. Come prepared to linger over your food and wine, enjoy the company of your companions, and the food comes out of the kitchen at a comfortable pace.
Highly recommended.
