This establishment has cafe upstairs and restaurant in basement. The latter is atmospheric and a more refined dining experience. Food was excellent although we made poor choices for the desert. The rabbit in particular was excellent though. Moderately priced and good wine selection at varied prices.

We visiting this restaurant on a busy Saturday evening in truffle season and we were told we were lucky to get a table, so if visiting try and book ahead.
Overall the food is decent, I had the pasta with white truffle which was good, but certainly not worth the €55 charged, this was followed by the rabbit that was cooked well but very salty, which was a shame. Other dishes my family had were decent.
The service is excellent and the value ok (except for anything with truffle) so I would recommend if in Alba.

we have visited Piazza Duomo a few times - the cuisine is fabulous - beautifully delicate dishes served with respect and expertise. the menu incorporated stunning dishes with white truffles added at appropriate times. The wine list was extemporary - fabulous Italian wines. This visit was during the white truffle festival - what a great experience! The restaurant staff are so attentive, knowledgeable and delightful! The salad famous from Pizza Duomo is worth travelling from any area of the World! The hotel rooms are exquisite - beautifully simple and perfect! with a balcony overlooking the square. The chef Enrico Crippa is the most modest genius!!

This is a wonderful, little, casual restaurant serving honest, delicious food. A little chaotic with wonderfully friendly service - there doesn't appear to really be a menu - its what they are serving that day and it is great. Inexpensive GO

We had to sweat before finding the restaurant, which is located off the main road, up a very narrow side road leading to almost nothing else - and, worst of all, with no signs showing how to get to it (if there are such signs, they are obviously very unclear). It seemed to us that the owners want to make sure that one really wants to get there, and is ready to make any required effort for it...
After reaching the place, we understood why the restaurant has a Michelin star. Every detail is dealt with to perfection. Starting with the welcome we received upon arrival, the Seating, the handling of small questions and requests, explanation of the menu and its contents, offering and serving the wine, and so on... everything. Even escorting one to the bathroom and folding one's napkin when away from the table... And the food? wow. nothing less! We enjoyed a wonderful dinner in this excellent restaurant - and the only problem we faced was finding our way back to the main road again...

Located in Piazza Savona square, ambiance is nice, both outside where you can see the world go by, and also the inside which is beautifully decorated, yet simple, but showcasing different wines from the are which are nicely visible on the wall.
A good selection in the menu with dishes such as salsiccia di Bra and ravioli del plin which are typical of the region.
For starter I had raw salsiccia di bra, good product, served nicely in a genuine portion. For main I had the spaghetti carbonara, also good quality.
The problem here seems to be the service, 20 minutes plus to get a bottle of water, around 15 minutes to have a manu, two plates per persons took around 2 hours. I don't mind waiting till its reasonable, but this was a little too much.
Will I be back? Will give it another try, might had been a bad day.

Almost all of the classic Alba dishes you'd be looking for are here. Quality of food was quite good but not outstanding. Service was very slow and the restaurant was very hot the night we were there. However it has been hotter than normal here. I think it is good value for money. Had a great bottle of 2015 Ratti Ochetti Langhe Nebbiolo for 21 euro that was very good.

What a great place! Dishes were excellent - especially the appetizers, and the house wines, which were included in the tasting menu, were very good. Marisa and Ana were hospitable, friendly and most of all efficient.
The tasting menu was such a delight, and the price was really reasonable. Our favourite was the appetizer - steak tartar, traditional cold veal and salami. We added white truffles to our primis (tajarine and ravioli), and they were heavenly.
We booked a table in advance, which turned out to be a wise decision. Marisa told me that the tables are fully booked all the way till November, but a table could pop out due to some cancellations. The restaurant is popular both among the locals and the tourists like us. I think the ratio was around 6 (local):4.

The best "focaccia genovese" in Alba combined to the fantasy of the legendary Giancarlo!Hot Pizza and focaccia all day and other typical Ligurian dishes, from 9:00 to 19:30.La miglior focaccia genovese ad Alba unita alla genialità del mitico Giancarlo! Pizza e focaccia calda tutto il giorno ed anche altri piatti tipici liguri, dalle 9:00 alle 19:30.
Great little location on Via Cavour to grab a Focaccia Sandwich or Pizza while strolling the streets of Alba. Always crowded with locals, but very friendly and great value. There is no inside Seating. There are a couple of tables you can stand at outside in the street.

We booked this restaurant because the reviews were good. We arrived and realised that there was no menu. We ordered the wine and just at the right time the first antipasti arrived. What we didn't know is that 3 more antipasti were to follow. After that 2 primi and 1 secondi. The food was so delicious that we didn't ask what was coming next because we wanted to enjoy the surprise.
The pace between one dish and another was perfect. The meal ended with a choice of desserts. What a great place few min drive from Alba. The view front the restaurant in daylight must be stunning. The house itself is beautiful. Lo consiglio con piacere. Il servizio e' perfetto.
