Cocina tecno-emocional de montaña situado en Ainsa, villa medieval y uno de los pueblos más bonitos de España.
Unusual menu: there were about a dozen appetisers (degustation) before our "a la carte" mains and desserts. They were tasty and well presented, but resulted in too much food by the time the entire meal was over.
The waiters are noteworthy: they never smiled, they dropped the plates in front of each diner, and whipped them away again before the last mouthful was swallowed. They seemed to be too busy serving the 14 appetisers, some of which required extra preparation at the table.
Overall an enjoyable meal. Would have been better if the mains were smaller to compensate for the numerous appetisers.
Our table had great views towards the Mountains. The decor was interesting and not tacky, and the total price was ridiculously low given the number of dishes. Overall it was very enjoyable.

We'd just arrived from the Mountains and wanted a few tapas an a drink. A sign displayed ouside the restaurant said 2 tapas and a drink Euros 4.95, this sounded ideal. A very miserable waitress took our order, her attitude was rude, although we ordered in Spanish. The tapas and drinks arrived, no bread to acompany it (we'd been traveling through France and Spain for nearly three weeks so were used to it ariving as a matter of course), the food was poor quality but we thought for the price we would not say anything. When the bill arrived, we had been charged Euros 22.00...not sure how this had happened but the waitress pretended not to understand when we queried it, we were too tired to bother pressing the matter so just paid up and left. The waitress also told off my husand for putting a bag on the adjacent chair, presumably as it was stopping others from sitting there. We felt ripped off and would not go there again under any circumstances.

We ate in the restaurant and had the menu del dia offerings. Good value and good food. Portions were large and we struggled to finish. Good wholesome food without pretentions.

The food at Casa Coronel is outstanding. Four of us had the set menu and each dish was delicious, beautifully presented and reflected the cuisine of the area using fresh local ingredients. The couple who run the restaurant are extremely thoughtful and ensure guests are welcomed and leave very happy, and planning the next visit!

One person of our group of 6 felt really bad afterwards. 2 other people also complained about stomach pains. The unfriendly waiter tried to add 20 EUR to the bill when entering the amount to pay via electronic payment: 88 instead of 68. Never experienced something like this!? Too bad because the location is really nice.

The Dos Ríos Restaurant, is a completely renovated concept. A unique space where we take care of every menu detail. The restaurant offers a variety of carefully prepared dishes , which can be chosen from the a la carte or daily menu. Meals can also be enjoyed on our pleasant Terrace
Staying at the hotel and seeing the reviews on Tripadvisor, we decided to eat at the hotel's restaurant.
In my view, the superlatives we saw were exagerated.
The starters were opposites: mine was too salty. my wife's was tasteless.
The mains were OK, though I did not like the combination of the porl tenderloin with caramellated onions.
The dessert (tarte tatin) was the best by far.
Pricewise the restaurant is really cheap in comparison with what they offer.
Bottom line: good but not perfect. Worth a detour/

Had a fun dinner here. Most of us were happy. Octopus starter was delicious, steak was excellent. Nice Rioja for only 18 euros. They also have barrels of house wine when you walk in, which were decent. Only weak spot was one pork entree, which was a curious amalgam of fat, gristle and bones. It looked relatively inedible, and looks did not deceive. We were only people there so sat in small "private" dining room. In summary, really fun dinner, just watch out for one cerdo entree! Good value 150 euros for five of us, including propina.

If you're staying in and around Ainsa I recommend you check this place out. The location is great, in the little hamlet of San Vicente, and offers spectacular views. For a fixed fee of €20 you get a hearty salad, plate of cold meats and cheese, a choice of barbequeued steak, lamb chops or sausage, home made pudding and wine. It's a more wholesome version of Casa Falcete.
Just head north out of Ainsa on the road to France. After 5 or so km (and two petrol stations), there's a sharp left singposted to San Vicente. Just follow the road to the village. You cant miss it as it's the only restaurant there.

Food was delicious and staff were eager to advise and assist. We had a great dinner here! Smoked duck, smoked boar and calamari were all great.
