The gorgeous ivory-colored cove of Agonda is known as "the silent beach," so of course it’s a top spot for relaxing getaways! Surrounded by abundant vegetation, the molasses-paced village redefines the passage of time, which perfectly stretches out your hide-from-the-world getaway vacation. Hole up in an adorable beach hut and let your worries simply disappear.

We’ve been coming to Madhu’s for years and it’s still one of the best places in Agonda.
Shekhar is a great host and always makes time to talk to you and importantly checks that everything is as you would expect.
The staff are hardworking, pleasant and are accommodating should you ask for your menu choice to be served without certain ingredients etc.
The food always delivers, the Indian food is some of the best we’ve had.
The WiFi is the strongest we have come across in the restaurants too.
Thoroughly enjoyed all of our meals here again this year.

blue planet cafe is vegetarian and vegan cafe serving along with organic health food for last 16 years.adding to its wing we also developed this property into beautiful Eco resort with yoga, water therapy and beautiful-comfortable accommodation.
Me and my husband Dorje ate here twice while in Agonda and LOVED the food. We are trying to clean/healthy and this is as healthy as it gets! Loved their coconut, spirulina smoothie and the papaya, flaxseed, green salad with millet roti. Yum! For those complaining here about being expensive, you get what you pay for!
It's vegan, it's organic, and it's made with lot of love and effort. We own an organic farm too so we know how much work goes into it! We met Pravin, the owner who's a man with a vision, who believes in eco friendly, recycling and permaculture and that's what we love about this whole place! We will definitely return when we come to South Goa!

Simrose bar and restaurant faces Arabian sea and is perfect spot to have nice breakfast with a glass of fresh juice and great coffee, laze around in one of our lounges during the day, have salad or pasta for the lunch, watch sunset with exotic cocktail and finish your day with bottle of wine and some fresh sea food for dinner.
Had dinner and beers/snacks here and found everything to be a really high standard. Lovely relaxed but tasteful interior and popular so a good atmosphere. Wide ranging menu so good options if you fancy a change from curry too. Spanish style piri piri prawns were a particular highlight. Great location on the beach for sunset drinks and just off the main road in the evening for dinner. Highly recommend.

Came with high expectations after Reading good reviews. Unfortunately, I was little underwhelmed. Beautiful setting, on the beach. I would advise getting here early as the restaurant fills up quickly after 6.30 with hotel guests, with many not being able to get a table. Service wasn't the best, not particularly friendly, and not attentive at all compared to the other restaurants along the beach. It was very difficult to catch a waiters attention. Orders were forgotten and when we received the bill, we had been overcharged. Food was okay, nothing special, chicken very tough but I suppose at least it was well cooked through! There is much better along the rest of the beach.

A small, locally owned and run vegetarian/vegan restaurant in Agonda where everything is cooked fresh to order.
This is a lovely family run vegan restaurant with an extensive menu, avocado salad with millet chapati and scrambled tofu, tofu stir fry, pumpkin cheese fritters. Delicious, big portions, home made soya yoghurt, juices. Set back from the main road so look for the sign. It's on the road to the left of the church.

For authenticity and value, Fatima's is a big winner.
Everything we tried from the Marsala tea, to
the aloo Gobi and Biriyani was quick to come
out, hot and beautiful. Service was great.
I'll go back every time im down for some
authentic Indian. One should not shy away
from something this consistent and delicious.
Thanks guys! : )

We stayed at Agonda Cottages and used the restaurant a lot. Great friendly staff, menu not extensive but something for everyone. Food always piping hot and cooked to order. Nothing too much trouble. A lot of other establishments in the local area should take note on how it should be done.
