Family restaurant, with daily dishes made by Lena and Petros. Excellent service by their relatives. Local wines , not a big list but good prices. Relatively quiet compared with other local establishments.

It's more of a traditional Greek tavern rather than modern restaurant, so do not expect fancy recipes but do expect top quality local ingredients, huge portions and low prices. Note that the food is consistently good on every visit no matter the period (busy or not).

We visited on Saturday for lunch.The restaurant even though it is big it was full.
Very easy to find at the center of Agios Athanasios.Warm,clean with an enormous variety of dishes.Very good and very fast service and most important very good quality at a normal price.There is always a sweet treat at the end.It is ideal for couples or for small groups.

I didn't go there for food, but the service and dishes of my pulled attention and definitely in a 2nd visit me there you will go again without a second thought. It is beautiful from every point of view and the food very quality and good prices

THE best food (we were told that it was cooked by a famous grandmother herself) . extra delicious, and the kindest of people to take care of you,
also has a lovely view of the Mountains and a great fireplace that makes you not want to leave but keep eating and drinking!

Good experience overall. The menu is not that extensive but what they have is fresh and the prices are really ok. We had the green salad with Parmesan and sundries tomatoes and the feta with sesame seeds as starters. Both really tasty. As a main course the biftekia (Greek hamburgers without the bun, just the meat). Also really good. We liked that the service was really fast even with the place quite full. Free desert (picture).

Your great option just a few miles from Edessa Waterfalls to the direction for the Mountain Kaimaktsalan. Excellent service & local cuisine, accompanied by local products and male wines. Free parking space near a lake with a lot of ducks. The scenery to the surrounding Mountains creates the freedom feeling. Value for money very close to the magic small village of Panagitsa very close to the Kaimaktsalan Ski Center & Glider drome. It's a hidden treasure of the area. Try it!

Rosa Canina Restaurant is a wonderful place and excellent example of traditional architecture, built in stone, with high wooden ceiling, central fire place and huge windows overlooking either the woods or the beautiful valley. Very distinguished and warm atmosphere is in harmony with local cuisine and excellent wines of the wide region. It is also open for social events and business lunches.
