Stopped off in Penrith for coffee and a cake, while travelling to Scotland ! Sat outside in the sun, lovely coffee and lovely service.

Iâve visited the magic bean a couple of time for breakfast which is always lovely cooked perfect and not greasy. Really nice coffees as well.Iâve also popped by for homemade bread a couple of times and on all occasions itâs been fresh and really tasty. Give this place a try lovely menu and something for everybody and even better pleasant friendly staff.

We regularly visit Penrith when travelling to and from Scotland and have tried many cafes since our favourite (Number 15) closed down.We will definitely be visiting this one again. Excellent food...we had the rarebit, sausage cassoulet & a cheese scone. The deli looks good too, as does the butchers shop.Highly recommended.Thanks for swinging by the shop and for your kind words - we're so glad you enjoyed it.Looking forward to seeing you again next time you're in town!
