Reviews on Healthy food in Tirol, Austrian Alps, Austria. Once known as The Land of the Mountains, the 10,000-square-mile province of Tirol is a wonderland of gushing rivers, lush meadows and rugged peaks. Fantastic hiking trails wind along paths through the Zillertal Alps. Famed resort towns confetti the mountainsides, including Kitzbühel, St. Anton, Ischgl and Seefeld, site of some events in the 1964 and 1976 Winter Games. Compact capital Innsbruck is a medieval gem. The Tirolean identity is strong: Expect to see lederhosen and feathered hats.

While we enjoyed eating at traditional restaurants in Mayrhofen, for a vegetarian especially, Goldkind was such a delight. Modern cuisine with fresh ingredients - just delightful. We came here more than once. The burgers were fab, coffee and cakes also amazing. Had we been staying longer we would undoubtedly have returned again. Friendly service. Highly recommended.

Everyone will love Plangger! Friendly service, basic, but high quality products (think hams and cheeses with bread), and wonderful beers. Whatâs not to like? Add a cosy interior and trendy, people-watching, exterior and youâre on to a winner! It is busy though, so good luck getting a table - itâs worth it!

Welcome at Gampe Thaya. Indulge, enjoy, switch off. This is the motto when you visit us at Gampe Thaya in Sölden. Daily fresh we prepare regional dishes with products from our local farmers and from our own farm. Our cows also like to stay at Gampe Thaya
If only we had eaten lunch here - it all looked fantastic. Sadly we had already eaten and were only stopping for an afternoon coffee break . . . . but got to see what the late diners were enjoying. The building is fantastic and the views stunning - well worth stopping there. Dear Bob,thanks for your feedback. Great to hear, that you stopped for a coffee break and that you enjoyed our restaurant. Hopefully we can welcome you once again at Gampe Thaya, then for lunch or dinner :)All the best and see you on 2.000 mbest regardsFam. Prantl
