Experience casual fine dining by a lake in the mountains in the Lake Rabun Hotel's award winning restaurant. In winter enjoy the old stone fireplace for a glass of wine before dinner. In warm weather dine on one of the decks under the stars, pines and hem
Our group of old friends from elsewhere and nearby assembled for a last supper before the aging group relocated . We were blessed by a quiet table, excellent wine and service, and average food.I am so glad that you and your friends chose our historic inn as a gathering place for your last supper together and that you enjoyed the ambiance, wine, and service. However, I am disappointed that you found our food "average". I would love to speak with you at your earliest convenience to gain a better understanding of what we could do better to serve you. Creative burgers, wings, well thought out menu with everything made in house. A full bar including 16 draft beers featuring craft and domestic. Outdoor seating and live music Friday and Saturdays May through October.
We stopped in for a cool beverage and a snack, and the place was busy. We were told 30 minute wait, but luckily found a seat at the bar. Bar tender took good care of us even though it was crowded. We tried the pulled pork nachos and they hit the spot. Kudos on the yellow mustard BBQ sauce. Everyone seemed to be enjoying their food and drinks. Good mix of locals and tourist, but the locals made us feel welcome. I'm holding back one star for the lack of personality of the hostess, the burger smoke from the kitchen and a bit of cleaning that was needed.

Enjoy a quiet afternoon relaxing on our patio (furry friends welcome), sipping wine, beer, coffee, or tea. We serve locally sourced hand crafted cuisine.
We had lunch at Grapes & Beans yesterday. From the moment they greet you as you come through the door until you leave they treat you like a cherished friend. The ambience is modern farm home and the outdoor patio seating is covered, enabling enjoying the outdoors even on a drizzly day. I had a cup of the tomato bisque and split a grilled cheese sandwich and salad with a friend. The bisque has a lovely layering of flavors topped with black sesame seeds. The grilled cheese was elevated and the side of pearl couscous was delectable. My husband had the bisque and a meatloaf sandwich, both of which he truly enjoyed. We will be back...Thanks for visiting us and the kind words. We hope to see you again soon!
