Reviews on Healthy food in Santa Teresa, Province of Puntarenas, Costa Rica. Surf’s always up in the Costa Rican beach town of Santa Teresa. Bright sun and gleaming sands make the perfect backdrop to hang ten in the crystal-clear waters, and fishing, snorkeling and kite-surfing are popular among vacationers. Yoga and spa services are a must for the ultimate relaxation, and, at night, catch a glorious sunset on the same beach where earlier you caught a wave.

A cute cafe right in front of the best surf spot in town La Lora. We serve Breakfast & Brunch, Goodies, Coffee, Smoothies and much more....
This was our favourite cafe to visit while staying in Santa Teresa. First, they make the best coffee in town, lovely breakfast selections and great light fair for lunch, It is also air conditioned (very few places in town are) and it is a great escape from the heat. Also, they make delicious smoothies that are reasonably priced! The staff is very friendly and provide great service!Thank you!!!!! Wish u the best...

At last we found the Spanish word for compliment. This is what we like to express to the owners of Vermú. Great quality food and friendly service. Food is all homemade and very tastefull. We had a burger and chicken dish and both were excellent. The pink smoothy is quite a choice to go for too. Muchos cumplidos. Thanks for choosing us! we hope to see you again.

Chilled vibe cafe located right in front of one of the nicest beach path. Home made healthy options, massive breakfast burritos and great smoothies. Fast service, take away and friendly atmosphere. come with your board or dog. everybody is welcome!
We had some wonderful pre surfing breakfasts here. Loved the açaà bowls, banana iced coffee, smoothies, and banana bread French toast. The owners were friendly and recommended some good surf spots. It was right off the main road, but felt like a little oasis.

Inspired by our travels throughout Southeast Asia and our love for Asian street food, this restaurant represents our creative effort on bringing authentic Asian flavor to the Costa Rican jungle. Our food is made with love using recipes collected from our
I was excited to try the infamous "red curry burrito" -- especially given spicy food is hard to find in Costa Rica -- but was disappointed when my burrito was served alongside a flavorless white paste (yes, blindingly white) and not "red curry." It was obvious that there were no chiles used in the preparation of the "curry," which was, again, totally white. Given the menu advertises curry sauce inside the burrito, I had to ask the server what the sauce was on the side, and he responded that it was the curry. The plain (i.e. not red curry) chicken burrito was also difficult to eat, because it was served in a kind of half shell, which rocked back and forth on the table -- and it fell apart quite easily, but at least there were some chopsticks to pick up the mess. I will say that the bartender here was incredibly friendly and professional. He made a delicious gin drink with mango and even offered to "top up" my drink. The upstairs bar and seating area is also pleasant -- nice to sit above the dust and mud of the main street. Maybe I just hit the place on a bad day, but I was definitely not served "red curry." Oh well! In any event, thanks to the great bartender for a tasty drink, which was the only satisfying part of my meal. I believe the restaurant is cash-only.That white sauce, my friend, was the dressing for the salad. That dressing really pops when added to the flavors of the salad. Our red curry, is in fact, red. I apologize about the confusion and the misinformation you received. It sounds like you like your food spicy, and you could have benefited from an extra side of red curry to apply to your burrito. If you are still in town, please stop by and we will present you with an extra spicy burrito!
