Reviews on Healthy food in Playa del Ingles, Maspalomas, Canary Islands. This big resort—the largest on Gran Canaria—was developed in the 1960s specifically as a tourist area. And all types of tourists have found it. LGBT travelers, families with kids, au naturel sunbathers, honeymooners, groups of young singles… there’s a spot for everybody on the beach here (and a hotel or apartment for every budget).

A nice place to have a great breakfast, eat a good burger, or a fresh salad! Bon Appétit ! We are located just in front of the Rey Carlos hotel, down the stairs. (Please note that we don't do Vegan food)
Cannot recommend Wua! enough. We must have gone 6-7 times during our one week trip to Gran Canaria. The staff are lovely and polite. The food not only delicious, but a good value for money. We tried Wua! for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had croissants, burgers, salads, omelettes and technically most things from their menu and all tasted great. Definitely would recommend checking them out upon your next visit to Gran Canaria.Hello Yordan,Thanks for taking time to leave a feedback, it's lovely to see that you tried our different tastes and liked them. Hope to see you again in your next trip! Warm regards from Wua team

We fell upon Borneo as the restaurant next door which we had planned to visit was closed for holidays. The menu sounded very varied and interesting and very different from all the touristy restaurants in the area. We were offered seating in an air-conditioned area or on the covered terrace. We chose the latter as it was a lovely warm summer's evening. We ordered a glass of red wine each, gyozas and chicken skewers for starters and steak served with red rice as mains. The menu was a pleasure to read, there were so many original dishes. The serving staff were lovely and very attentive. They answered all our questions about the dishes. The restaurant has a very informal feel, simple yet clean and fresh. The starters were delicious, the prawn gyozas melted in your mouth and the chicken skewers reminded me of similar dishes eaten in Indonesia and Malaysia. Mouthwatering! The steak was cut into strips and the rice was almost a dish in itself. A kind of fried rice with vegetables. The flavours were amazing. We were a little disappointed with the dessert menu as every single item had dairy in it so I had to give it a miss. My husband had the blueberry cheesecake and he said it was excelllent. The owner did say that they added other desserts on busier days, so we will be back to try them. You can park easily just across the road from the resaurant or a taxi from any of the Maspalomas or Playa del Inglés hotels won't cost more than a few euros. It makes a real change from all the usual restaurants and is not expensive.
