We ate here several times in the past and the food was great. However not tonight! The purple hull peas and cornbread we’re liking eating dessert. It was so sweet and disappointing. The food didn’t come out together and after 20 minutes they brought another side dish we ordered with our original order. We were finished eating and sent the side order back - they still charged us for it!! The kids chicken was burnt and smallest serving I’ve ever seen. Lastly the chicken n dumplings was like chicken soup with veggies. Not what we expected! The cheeseburger and meatloaf were the only two good items we had at the table.

Second time eating here. First time we sat in restaurant, second time in the bar. Neither one was quiet, but that was fine with us. Bar area has TVs to keep up with your sporting events. Both times, the service was good. Have tried several appetizers, fish tacos, shrimp Louie, gumbo, wedge salad with grilled shrimp, Cuban sandwich. Would go back

Based on the enthusiasm of the other reviewers, I think my experience with American Pie might have been due to it being a takeout order rather than being eaten straight out of the oven. We had the cheese bread sticks, buffalo wings, a large bacon and black olive pizza, and a large pepperoni and mushroom. Everything was definitely good, but it wasn’t the best I’ve had in the Little Rock area. I did really like their buffalo wings, and I’m picky about buffalo sauce. I apologize that your take out experience was not what you expected. We typically have good reviews for both dine in and take out, but I think all pizza is better fresh out of the oven. I hope you get a chance to come and see us in person one day. Thank you for your comments and we appreciate your business.Melody Williford, Co-Owner
