Cafe serving breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. Also vegetarian food and vegan cakes as well as gluten free cakes and bread
Visited this cafe based on the positive reviews on Trip Advisor and it didnât disappoint. We were lucky in grabbing the last table for four as it was busy on a Saturday afternoon. The menu was extensive with lots of different options, with a good focus on local ingredients too. I wished I could have tried more like the local bacon or sausage sandwich but this time round we went for the Buddha Bowl with halloumi and the smoked salmon bagel. The portions were very generous and the quality of ingredients shone through. It was a little wait but well warranted as our lunches made from scratch. The staff were warm and friendly and the atmosphere was cosy too. Next time I would save room for either one of the cakes or a delicious sounding milkshake. Well worth a visit! We are glad you enjoyed your visit, thank you for your kind comments about the food and service

Driftwood Kitchen is a coastal inspired hangout with a relaxed vibe. Situated in the picturesque village of Highcliffe-on-Sea, we are all about innovative fresh food and expertly made coffee. Nestled on the high street, just minutes from the beach. We are
After a recommendation from my sister in law Hayley, my husband and I went in for lunch and were both extremely impressed and really enjoyed the warm welcome and delicious food at Driftwood. I had a really yummy iced coffee and an enormous steak and blue cheese flatbread. He has the cheeseburger which is served with an amazing onions ring/nest ( I devoured it and I donât even eat onions). Shared the chips as per Tinaâs recommendation due to portion size and glad we listened! We loved it and will surely be back!

A friend and I met here for lunch. I am local but had never tried The Larder. We both chose the Roast Vegetable Tart which was hot and delicious. It came with a nicely dressed salad. The Larder has a nice atmosphere, away from the melee of the High Street. The only downside was having to eventually get up and ask for our table to be cleared and cleaned before we ate ...Thank you very much for your review and I am very pleased that you enjoyed your meal. I do apologise that you were left sitting at an uncleared and dirty table, and I have reiterated to the staff the importance of always making sure the tables are cleared and wiped down as soon as customers leave so I hope that this will not be the case when you, hopefully, next visit us.

Of all the tea-shops/cafes in Lymington, Bridges is my favourite with Elliots a close second and St.Barbe third. If you are at the top of town though, the only place is Bridges. It is a traditional tea-room, coffee-house with non-matching furniture, pretty cottons and probably the best coffee in Lymington. There is a choice from about 10 coffees and your choice can come in a cafetiere ,always welcome to me. The cakes are home-made and the food is excellent and freshly produced. For added pleasure there is also a shop display of gifts and decorative items that are remarkable in their variety and quality. A real treasure of a place with nice people to serve you and a very tempting display of confectionary. Don't miss it . A real treat in all respects. Terry Langford.
