Find out what Healthy restaurants to try in Fatima. Lovely as it is, this little country town of less than 8,000 about 75 miles north of Lisbon wouldn’t be on the radar if it weren’t for its most famous citizens: the three shepherd children who, in 1917, saw monthly visions of the Virgin Mary in the Cova da Iria pasture. Today, the site is marked by the Basílica de Fátima, where pilgrims come on the 13th of every month to honor the Virgin and her young visionaries, especially in May and October, when the apparitions originally began and ended.

We are a family restaurant where we offer a service with over 30 years of experience highlighting the traditional Portuguese cuisine.
The food is really good and wellade. If one is looking for traditional simplebportuguese homemade food, this is a nice place.Service is a bit slow making it a bit dissapointing experience, perhaps easier if more staff or at least more experienced.
My wife and I were pleased to find a vegan restaurant in Fatima. The staff were so helpful in explaining the way the food was served, and the food was wonderful, from soup to buffet to dessert and drinks. We also purchased some vegan "cheeses" from Lisboa; they were great for picnic lunches. We'll visit this restaurant again when we're in Fatima.

Our tour guide took us to this local restaurant on our way out of Fatima. He did all the ordering, and we enjoyed every bit of it. Be sure to ask about dessert. There is a cake on the menu that is fantastic.
