I love a thin crust pizza and Tracey's hand-crafted pizzas are the ultimate in freshness and choice ingredients.The recent addition of ridiculously yummy salads and also the new lunch hours is a real bonus! La Ballena Roja is always a fun place to meet up with friends and enjoy a relaxed and festive atmosphere while eating super delicious food!It brings me joy that you enjoy my food and the space I've created. We stopped by for a cold beer and decided to order some shrimp. So fresh and tasty. The beer was ice cold and the view of the river with the guys fishing for shrimp was fun to watch. The iguana on the roof was so cute. Overall, this place was a great place to hang out for beer and snacks. I recommend Boca Coronado to anyone visiting the Ojochal area.

Family of 5 agree that the Burrito was a highlite of our time in Uvita, Costa Rica. A great find! We had Nachos, enchilades and of course burrito's. Beef, steak and chicken!!! All fantastic. Highly recommend. Prices good and portions HUGE!!! Enjoyed meeting the owner. This little place is right off the highway from Dominical. You will be greeted with Geovanny's smiling face and cold beer. The food is always great, the atmosphere is always fun. This is our favorite place to eat in Dominical. Don't miss it. Thank you Alyse always welcome.

Serving staff attentive. Gave great descriptions of food and drinks. Allowed us to make food substitutions in their dishes. Very tasty meals. We had 3 different Tuna medallion dishes prepared 3 different ways- all delicious and quite different. Serving sizes were large, veggies served with meals were flavourful cooked just right, not soggy. Owner and chef JazmÃn GodÃnez, presents a food experience like no other.The 4-course presentation includes integration of ingredients from her on-site garden and local organic farmers. Each dish is prepared with love over and open fire and includes layers of flavors as well as edible and medicinal plants. I was blown away by the level of technique used for each preparation and presentation. Not only is the food amazing, but Jazmin welcomes you like family. From the time that you arrive until the time you leave Jazmin is explaining each presentation including the benefits of the medicinal plants included. Definitely an experience not to be missed. We went to dinner here our last night in Costa Rica. This is a real jam! The sunset view is amazing the staff awesome and the food was terrific. I only wish we found it earlier. They have accommodations as well. Donât miss this place and be sure to get there for sunset!

Sad that this place has gone so downhill. When it originally opened it was good. They tried to please and present a good meal.Over time they have become lazy and don't care. Customer service sucks!Nuff said?

Stopped by for lunch, and had a delicious panini. My whole meal was great. The staff was friendly and attentive. The restaurant is right on the river, and has some beautiful views. I finished my meal with their chocolate-chip cookie which was also excellent. I also really liked their house hot sauce. I would eat there again without hesitation.Thanks very much for the great review. We really appreciate it. Hoping to see you back again soon!
