We ate here twice during our short stay in a chilly, wet April week and were very impressed by the quality of the food and service. There are many restaurants along this road by the river but this is really the star. The restaurant is decorated in modern Spanish style, light and airy with a menu in English which is varied and imaginative. We began with a delicious glass of Cava and our choices for main course arrived in a timely manner with a service that was attentive but not intrusive. The cooking though is superb with food beautifully presented, every mouthful a delight. Don't walk past!

First meal in Cordoba and if the rest were are good as this we should have a great time.Walked through a high ceilinged, spacious restaurant into an orangery! The rear of the restaurant is a large outdoor courtyard with orange trees and walls adorned with plantpots. At 10.00pm it was still empty but within twenty minutes the place was full. Looked like most tables were prebooked and the atmosphere was excellent, outdoors with lots of locals enjoying their dinner and most in large family groups (it was Friday). Menu offered a wonderful selection of dishes of varying types, vegetables, meat, fish etc; all of which looked inviting. We decided to try five media racions to share which with bread, bottle of wine, water and a couple of beers was very good value at â¬40. All the food was freshly prepared and tasted good. Artichokes, lettuce hearts, shrimp tortilla, deep fried hake in batter and a traditional dried cod dish; all were very good indeed and portions were generous. House wine was very good.Service was efficient with waiters busily bustling around making sure everyone was happy. One negative is that while the service was very good, our dishes came much too quicky and in no rational order which meant that at one point all our food was there at the same time crowding the table and allowing some of the hot dishes to go cold. A small point that did not detract from the enjoyment. Had a great time but will visit many of the other wonderful restaurants in Cordoba before getting around to coming here again. If this restaurant is on your shortlist or you are local to it then go.

La Alqueria is one of the most charming and amazing places based in the city center of Cordoba (Andalusia, Spain).
Nice location, decent staff service, food is ok, drinks are poor quality. House wine is atrocious...I donât understand why a resto would serve garbage drinks and expect someone to order more.

Bodega Mezquita. Tavern- traditional restaurant located in the Jewish quarter, close to MEzquita Catedral of Cordoba. An exceptional place where you can taste the best plates and tapas of cordovan gastronomy. Family business which we initiated our path in
To us, poor service goes hand in hand with a bad restaurant but I have nothing but praise for Manolo. It may be customary for all staff there to give a comp glass of dessert wine at the end but that takes nothing away from his outstanding service. We had the set tapas menu for 14.95 pp which was incredible value for 6 tapas, bread, drink and a dessert. So good that we ate there for dinner again! Thank you so much for your congratulations! Our partner Manolo is a great professional and a great person, all this is demonstrated in his daily work. We will send your congratulations to Manolo, he will love to hear them.We hope to see you again very soonRegards

HamburgueserÃa de carne de vacuno propia. Criamos a los animales en libertad en las sierras de Cordoba. Hamburguesa 100% carne picada de vacuno y sal.
Excellent customer service and they made the visit rather enjoyable. Would definitely come back again. I love that you can choose how well your meat is cooked from medium-rare to well done. Actually it is not placed in the best location but definilly it is worth it to visit.

A restaurant of Bodegas Mezquita group, the most popular and famous restaurants of Cordoba. The most charming and romantic of the group where to enjoy the best tapas and most typical wines of Cordoba.
Husband and I enjoyed several delicious tapas prepared by chef Juan during a recent dinner here. The mushroom croquettes and fried eggplant were especially tasty and I loved my glass of sangria as well! The restaurant is casual, a warm and friendly place with a bright and happy vibe. Our waiter Jose was great, very patient and helpful answering all of our questions. Highly recommend this restaurant!

The best tapas bar in Cordoba, located on the riverbank next to the Guadalquivir River and a few meters from the Mosque of Cordoba.
Personally I would not recommend this to any of my friends. Very bright lights and no atmosphere. Service was pretty poor and we left without all of our dishes as we were keen to leave. Mrs. Claire,First of all we appreciate your feedback because it helps us to improve, but we have doubts that you could have confused restaurant when writing your review.  We have the right staff so that the service is the right one at all times and after consulting with my team they tell me in the last few weeks there has been no cancellation of any orders by any customer. So we think there was some confusion with the restaurant, in that case we would ask if they were so kind to rectify it Thank you very much
