Award winning bar, restaurant & wedding venue in the Strawberry Beds. Live traditional music 7 nights a week.
I was there last week for a wedding. Coming from a service background, I cannot compliment the staff enough. Despite the guys being rushed off their feet, they took time to have a bit of a chat and banter with the people attending the wedding. The food was amazing and I actually had the pleasure of tasting every course option due to my boyfriend allowing me to order for him! It is a very intimate venue, so close to dublin city centre. I just loved the atmosphere and really enjoyed the night. Great to see in a big city. Looking forward to revisiting

Urbanity - all-day dining and coffee roastery in Smithfield, Dublin 7. Open for breakfast, lunch and coffee Monday - Friday. Wine bar with sharing plates Wednesday - Saturday evening. Brunch on Saturday and Sunday.
Wow! The food in Urbanity is incredible. It looks like a work of art, but more importantly, tastes incredible. We discovered it on TripAdvisor and the plaudits are well-deserved. They also roast their own coffee and it was also delicious. A must visit when in Dublin.

Never had this kind of food before but decided to give it a try. Visited midweek at lunchtime and they were busy but very efficient. Had roasted red pepper soup that was spectacular! Dh had a wrap with chicken and all the fixings. Was also delicious! Would visit again! The restaurant is very small but it was a nice day so we got takeaway and ate in the park!

Between two outstanding Cathedrals, Christ Church and St. Patrick's, means it fortuitously gets a lot of passing visitors. And it deserves its high reputation.Ordering at the counter and then finding a table in the smallish space, we didn't have to wait long for breakfast to arrive. Scrambled egg, bacon and more tasted delicious. The very busy staff were welcoming and cheerful, all adding to a pleasant beginning to the day.
