Visited twice during a short trip to Bruges. The first time for a takeaway. White baguette with mozzarella, tomato, pesto, pine nut and rocket which was very tasty. Fillings very fresh and the bread light and crunchy. On the second visit we ate in. This time a brown seeded long roll with crab, tomato and cucumber. Again very tasty. Very good coffee too. The staff are great and made our visit fun. Very reasonable price too.

We are Americanâs visiting Belgium and this is one of the best restaurants we have been to here. We did not have a reservation but they managed to fit us In. Itâs a small restaurant so we recommend making reservations. They have a limited amount of servings each night. The service was excellent and the staff spent considerable time going over the menu with us. There was a strong sense of pride in their ingredients which we greatly appreciate. My wife is a vegetarian and loved her vegetable dish. The steak tataki with the homemade wasabi sauce is one of the best I have had.Highly recommend this quaint gem of a restaurant with a true farm to table experience. By far a major highlight of our holiday. Thanks a lot for this beautifull feedback, we feel blessed you will come back tonight!

That is a direct quote from the owner and quite true. We had meat lasagna and beef stroganoff and both were great with generous portions. This place deserves its high rating. Great location on a quiet street near the Hospital and the Minnewater Canals. They have a mystery wine selection by the glass. We tried both the red and the white and both were good.

The owner seated us, served our wine, then cooked our meal which was outstanding. I had mussels, so many I couldn't eat all of them, in a delicious broth, and my husband had the Flemish Stew, tender and rich. Really a 5 star meal. Our mistake was not going back the next night.Dear Mariomama, thanks a lot for your such great review about our restaurant and our mussels and beef stew. We are really appreciate for this.
