You know the food is good when the queue is out the shop and onto the street. It is worth standing in line and working out what you will have. This sassy salad bar has the best freshest salads, generous portions and well priced. I chose 4 salads; a vegan mexican rice and bean salad, a cummin and tumeric coleslaw, a quinoa salad, and one other. All delicious. I completely recommend this joint. The food is distinctive and nothing is deep fried!

This restaurant is located over several floors in a former bakery in central Valletta. Staff are very accommodating and menu interesting. Be warned that the portions can be on the large side! Access from St Dominic Street is over a transparent glass floor and down glass stairs - you may want to hold someoneâs hand if you donât like (apparent) heights!

Being vegetarian it is always difficult when nigh on all food outlets purveys meat and fish produce, and Valletta stands out in this alienation of vegetarianism. However, by chance or good fortune, I say good fortune, we found the unique and god-sent Naan Bar in Valletta centre. Located away from the hustle and bustle of well trodden tracks, this restaurant is sublime and is a must for weary veggies looking for decent food. The food is of a standard you could expect or experience in a 5-star hotel, and we loved it. The staff were articulate and professional that added to this wonder food experience. In addition, the prices were better than the rest of Valletta's so called fine diners. Top Mark's for the Naan Bar. In the basement of a 300 year old building. Go down the steep steps and find yourself in a cozy atmosphere with a cheerful and knowledgeable young woman who helps you pick from a very large number of craft beers. Only the moldy smell keeps this bar from getting 5 stars.
