This is a very nice small restaurant with spanish ambiente and lots of tapas. We ordered around 6 different plates and with every dish we had the feeling, that something was missing, but in the end still enjoyed every bite. Service was a bit slow as they forgot some orders and brought some wrong, but in the end it was a nice evening and we enjoyed it.

When we booked we had no idea it was a surprise menu, so I was nonplussed when I asked see the menu. But do not fear! We were given the choice of fish, meat or vegetarian for starters and mains. Our fish starter - a carpaccio of sorts - was delicious and our main of lamb was also scrumptious. We finished with a very fine cheeseboard. We opted for accompanying wine, thinking we would get a glass per course, but were thrilled that the wine was be free-flowing, and also good quality, not all from Italy either. We had excellent service, attentive, knowledgeable and friendly (don't know why another reviewer groused about that - sometimes its down to personalities!) As a new resident to Basel, this restaurant is find. And we will be back!

In the centre of lively "Kleinbasel", one of the hotspots of the city, you'll find our restaurant, located in one of the oldest buildings of Bale, dating back to the 14th century. A terrace provides a lovely view over the river Rhine where you can see the
We reserved a table for yesterday evening for the first time and really enjoyed our visit. Lovely, friendly restaurant on the banks of the Rhine serving really delicious food. Service was especially good and weâre looking forward to a return visit on a sunny evening to sit outside.

So nice to be at a Swiss restaurant that also provides nice and very friendly service. Coming from America I always feel that service is lacking in Swiss restaurants. Not here, service was great. Big points. Was also nice to see some other draft beers behind the typical Swiss or German beers which all taste the same. So big points for that.Unfortunately food was ok, nothing special. And dessert was ice cream, nothing home madeDear guestThank you very much for your feedback on Tripadvisor and the positive words. We are happy you enjoyed our service and the beers. Concerning the food we will definitely improve that and hope, when you come back again, you will be satisfied. Have a great day!Kind regards, Marina ScheurerEvents & MarketingGrace Restaurant & Lounge

Came here for breakfast/brunch on a Saturday morning with our 2 little girls. Buffet type. You pay according to the weight of your plate (43chf/kilo). Itâs not cheap. But itâs Switzerland. We were a bit surprised by the âlackâ of variety on offer to be honest... a lot of savoury, salads, vegetarian dishes, breads, etc which is fine and everything we tasted was quite tasty. But it was lacking sweets and the usual foods you would expect at a European breakfast/brunch - ie. eggs. And you have to pay more (of course) for any sweet pastries.... This aside, everything is fresh, tasty, and itâs worth a try!Cute little kids area - a few toys, books and colouring pencils.

It's very busy. Apart from having to share a table in order to get a seat we had a fabulous meal here. Chose set maze for 2 with meats @66CHF, it could easily have fed four. All around us people were taking doggie bags home. Service very good, food very good, price on a par for this country, over £100 including wine.Thank you for your evaluation :) There is always a lot going on in Za Zaa Petersgraben, so we recommend to book in advance. But we are very happy you find your table and you enjoyed it so much. We hope, of course, that you will stop by again ;)Greetings from your Za Zaa Team

In the very heart of the former Warteck Brewery, 2nd Floor, we invite you to creative cuisine, fine natural wines and hospitality. We maintain a pleasant relaxed atmosphere with a kitchen range influenced by french to asian cuisine and VEGAN cooking. Visi
We booked here from the UK having read the FB reviews as we were in Basel on holiday, my wife's a veggie and it was her birthday.Having read it was a little tricky to find, we took a picture of the building with us which helped. They have put up little yellow arrows to get you heading in the right direction once you've found the building. We were a group of seven and all of us each enjoyed the meal very much. That's both veggies and meat eaters.Setting being in the old brewery was a little industrial but that along with excellent service added to the charm. They also made a bit of a fuss for the birthday girl with a large indoor firework style candle.Mains should have been accompanied by soup or salad. These weren't offered but to be fair we didn't ask for them.If it wasn't thousands of miles away we'd be back but if in Basel again we definitely will be.Swiss food is far from cheap especially here but worth it.Oh it's also wheelchair accessible with a disabled loo too.Thank you very very much for your lovely review. We appreciate you! Kind regards, Cantina Don Camillo

At the Teppanyaki, we prepare juicy steaks, Asian grilled vegetables and seafood right in front of you. We do not throw any food around, do not jiggle around with cooking utensils and do not serve as in the fast food. You can expect culinary delights, pas
Had a really great night out with the family at Hattoriâs. While the overall atmosphere was soso, the food was incredible. Main courses we would definitely recommend to try: octopus, seafood platter, and the duck. Really well done - teppanyaki style and cooked directly in front of you. Weâll be back.Thank you very much for this review. We're glad you liked it.
