Speed dating only with food. It is so clear that the staff at Wolffer Kitchen is instructed to get you in and out in a little over an hour. I can only imagine the staff meetings! I wonder if they run practice drills.Well fast dining does not make for a positive high end dining experience. It actually made what would have been an amazing dining experience much less enjoyable. There were times when our plates were being cleared before we were fully finished. This is not what I expect from an expensive restaurant. Would have given a higher rating but for the âin and outâ attitude of the staff.Knowing this now, be forewarned. I would give it a try but slow down your waiters! The challenge will be to see if you can. Good luck!

Breakfast was mediocre at best. The bread was stale, the espresso was undrinkable, the egg white omelet was not good. It was overpriced even for Hamptons prices. We do not recommend going here. I know it is an institution but they can do better. The staff was very friendly and professional so another meal with great staff but horrible food.

Beautiful spot in East Hamptonâs historic district which is convenient for several area sites. Food is 5 star perfection! Great place for lunch and wine in a beautiful setting. Recommend the crostini, the gnocchi and the macro bowl but I donât think you can make a wrong choice. Our server Greg was fantastic!
