We heard from our guide how special this restaurant was and we turned back into town to find it. The owners are very friendly and made sure we got exactly what we would appreciate and love. He even brought out a special Hawaii dessert. This place is a find!

We stopped in thinking Ice cream and burger type place.... NOTHING like that. It was dirty. Obviously trying to stay alive. I felt bad, but the place didn't look all that clean. The Fried Mahi was YELLOW, like banana yellow...??? huh?? THE french fries were AWESOME. But that was it. Weird menu. I couldn't get a basic GRILLED CHEESE. I mean there is bread on their menu, and cheese....helllloooo? The gentleman behind me wanted 3 grilled cheeses..>NOPE.... not allowed. I had french fries (yum) my husband had the fried mahi plate and it came with RICE (huh??) and Macaroni salad (double huh????) Just terrible. Nope. Keep it. It seems to stay alive only due to the kids after school. We were there right when the kids were dismissed in town and many stopped by for something. Don't waste your time or money. Cost $14. give or take a few pennies for one Mahi plate and a small fry, no drinks nothing. NOW if it was really good, heck YEAH...but to eat on dirty tables, and feel like the fish was dyed.... NOPE. AND NO ICE CREAM!
Hawaiin Shave Ice with classic styles or your choice of Fresh all Natural in house flavors, featuring seasonal local fruits! We also have many sides such as mochi, ice cream, popping boba, snow cap, lihing powder, come get a authentic taste of Hawaii! The
We some here after searching for shaved ice. The shop was small with only 2 places inside to sit. 2 outside tables as well. I got the rainbow which has strawberry, banana and blue Hawaiian with a snow cap(condensed milk) it was really good. The only thing on the menu is shaved ice and ice cream.
It's a great little market to get all the essentials. They had everything we needed for the couple of days we were staying in the area. The cashier was really nice and she even knew the local guy that was checking out in front of us. It's a small community where everybody knows each other.

We stopped here because not much else was open in town at the time. The proprietor was rude to us and the food was average. She engaged in a highly inflammatory political conversation with some other patrons which made us want to ditch our food and leave. In the words of Dory, âJust keep swimmingâ right on past to the next town.

Promises homemade cooking with the emphasis on Granmas cooking. The only thing is it's not. It's frozen chips, frozen breadcrumbed fish. Very disappointing, that said there is very little else in town if you want to eat. Very good service albeit disappointing food.
