My husband and I were going to Denver for a few days and we stopped here for lunch. It's located in downtown Trinidad and there's a parking lot at Commercial and Elm area, about a block walk. There is seating inside and outside. It's a small place, but the food is very good. I got the chicken salad sandwich and my husband got the pastrami reuben panini, both came with chips and a pickle spear. I think the chicken salad had a basil pesto in it. The panini came with a 1000 island dressing. There are stairs to get to the outside seating area and the bathroom. I didn't see an ramps or elevators. The menu is small but ask about specials. Very good. We'll be back.Thank you for the kind review. A few corrections though, Our Pastrami Reuben is made with the house-made Russian dressing (my husbands recipe). We do have outdoor seating out back which is ADA accessible via the Iron gate leading in from the parking lot, and that gate is always unlocked when the courtyard is open. This building is 140 years old & a registered historic bldg so the bathrooms being downstairs are not likely to be changed. We are happy to announce though that the city built new ADA accessible public bathrooms only one block away & they are nice & clean located in the parking lot of Commercial & Elm. Thanks again for visiting & we hope to see you back!

The newest, freshest restaurant and bar in Trinidad Colorado. We make all our sauces and salsas in house daily. We also have Saturday and Sunday bottomless Mimosas and a Bloody Mary bar. VEGAN AND VEGETARIAN Friendly.
My wife and I traveling cross country. Needed fuel ,restroom and restaurant. We would have driven right past if wife hadn't spotted white sign on walk. Nice comfy and warm establishment. Ringo was our server and did a good job although never got refills on our drinks. I had breakfast and was superb. Wife got ham and cheese. Also very tasty. Really cheap breakfast but then they add $2 bucks for the bacon. That was a first for me.

So, to start off with, we're big brewery and pub people. We like places with a wide variety of draft beers, an interesting atmosphere and simple but good food. Well, there's just not much of that sort of thing in Trinidad. The Purple Toad seemed to be the closest to what we were looking for on our overnight stay in Trinidad. The Toad is located in a warehousy building near the Interstate. Itâs open with several rooms with tables scattered about and an outside patio. Off to one side is a bar with stools. Our server was pleasant. Service was adequate by not engaging nor overly attentive. They weren't busy so I would have hoped for prompter service. But was fine.Their beer selection wasn't as broad as I would have anticipated. And the server didn't know if they had chardonnay or not. This could use some improvement. My wife and I shared their fish and chips and got a side salad to augment it. The salad was quite good with varied greens on a large plate. Enough to share. The fish was good. Three pieces. Nicely breaded and fried. The fries (chips) were crisp and tasty. A nice dinner.Might want to search deeper next time for someplace with more interest.

We had never tried them at the station but had heard good things they are still there. However they finally got open in their new location.. I am a RIB QUEEN love me some ribs and they did NOT disappoint get your ribs dry with the sauce on the side as their rub is excellent. My husband had the pull pork and said it was very good. healthy portions, good fries....oh the coleslaw needs to be chopped and dressed more....I am not sure why good coleslaw is so hard to find as it is so EASY to make! they have a nice variety not just smoked fare. hope they can make it in their new spot as Trinidad is in dire need of decent places to eat.
