I travel through Talca/Maule semi regularly as I have some family in the region, and I had never previously been to this place. After exhausting tripadvisors recommendations, I got wind of this place from a friend.Totally unassuming location but a true gem is hidden away upstairs. Nice decor and genuine experience, the staff and service were fantastic. We had some entres and it all was very nice, but we then had the beef. Awesome!! It was beautifully crusted with a well browned exterior and succulent interior with just enough char to accent the rustic beef flavours. My head was spinning. Pisco sours are also very good and we had an excellent red that was recommended by the waiter. Hours later, I stumbled out of there. Amazingly well fed and feeling on cloud nine. Had to leave the car and uber to the hotel. Not expected, but totally welcome.

The most typical restaurant of the Maule Valley. With all the ancient recipes of our land and the most traditional environment with a exposition of pictures of the old city, ancient working tools and much more. This restaurant is also the headquarters of
My accommodation recommended this place. It didn't disappoint (after an hour's cycle). The service was attentive, the food 5 star, the wine unbelievable, and the price comparable to a cheap takeaway back home. After dessert, I wandered the vineyards and then bought four bottles of wine at prices that were basically giveaways. No visit to Talca is complete without this amazing destination!

A wide range of fine seafood and tables, followed by main based on meat as lomo a lo pobre or pasta and homemade desserts adapted to our culture , have enabled its owner, Miguel Angel Abasolo Russo , keep a food with a high standard quality , but still gi
I guess our mistake was in not ordering the meat...which looked great . Unfortunately we got there early and went for a seafood and a pasta dish. Both were marginal at best because of the quantity of salt used in both dishes. So, I guess the tip here is....order a meat dish......maybe with less salt.

I asked about pasta and the helpful waiter suggested a mixed pasta and meats, but I should have ordered a loin or filet at this place. The prices are very good for beef and that is what you should order here. I was told they are moving in the next month or so. Check the website for the address as it is not at Calle 2 Norte 515, but on 4 W. The (Chilean) papaya dessert was also very nice. Love the Austral beer.
