Typical conservative interior. Very cosy. Local people tend to come here.Honestly they serve here the best cordon blue I have ever had. It comes with roesti. The differentiating thing with this cordon blue is the ham inside which is smokey and the cheese which has a strong taste. If you want to see a real Swiss place this is your choice. They have also a big variety of Swiss and international wines.

Sometimes in times of trouble you find a place to eat that lifts your mood.In June of 2016 , what do I do , I fall down the stairs and break my neck.So when I find a resturant that is perfect in most ways I have to purr.We arrived to discover a table that was OK but not right. I want to be normal I don't want to be disabled and sit near the door and toilet I want to be part of an intense experience.Here the Golden Wagen staff and the chef made it happen. A great bacon and mushroom nut salad followed by the best fillet steak I've tasted , 300 grammes of pure perfection.No desert room but great wine selection.We sat in the restaurant but when there is not a wedding the attached winter garden would be perfect.

Wir haben das Ãberraschungsmenü genossen - alles war spannend und gut, inklusive der dazu kredenzte Wein. Aber vier Stunden für vier Gänge war zu viel für unseren Geschmack und leider auch für unsere Laune, die gegen Ende des Abends deutlich gelitten hat unter der langen Warterei. Ein Highlight war der sehr nette und sympathische Service, das Zünglein an der Waage von drei zu vier Sternen.
