The restaurant is located in Banjol/ Barbat which is about 3-4 km away from the old town in Rab.The location is great, it is at the water and you have a wonderful view on the ocean and on the sunset. The food was also good, especially the sheep's cheese and meat (Aida meat). However, for my taste the meat could have been a little bit warmer. Further, the red wine was good and the service also nice.Prices are not too expensive but it is also not a cheap place. I would say they have normal prices. Paying was only in cash possible.Nice restaurant where you can enjoy your dinner with a beautiful sunset view!

ci siamo fatti attrarre dal maialino che girava nel grill sulla strada, e siamo rimasti soddisfatti del piatto scelto.locale all'aperto su una terrazza,ma quella sera faceva caldo lo stesso.servizio cordiale e gentile,ed anche veloce,aiutati dal fatto che cerano pochi tavoli occupati.conto di pochi euro sopra la media del postoconsigliato

I will highly recommend this place, if you want to get a good food, friendly service and reasonable invoice!)I spent 1 week on Rab and ate in a lot of places with high rating and really bad food and I can tell for sure, that it was just one and only place, where I got good pizza, fresh good cooked meat and positive service!Donât miss it!

During our stay on Rab island, Batana became our favorite spot for breakfast, lunch & dinner. They have the best espresso in town and a mouth-watering lemon pie. For lunch or dinner I may suggest their pizza, especially the one with bresaola (air-dried and salted beef), and also their burgers, for which they are famous for island-wise. As a dessert you can taste their soft ice cream, served in three different flavors. If you are in for a drink and you like cocktails, their special-recipe-mojito is the one to go for. Batana has absolutely been a great discovery on Rab island and definitely itâs worth a friendly visit. Canât wait to come back!

In addition to grilled dishes, pizza, hamburgers, ice cream, the restaurant offers all kinds of gatherings, festivals, gatherings on the occasion of various anniversaries, birthdays, holidays and the like. Very pleasant atmosphere with a great waitress (Vilma)....... my recommendation

We spent 3 weeks on Rab Island and visited Velum through recommendation from friends. We ended up eating here 3 times. The staff is very friendly, and the owners wife is lovely! She recommended the desserts and they were all fantastic! The best Pavlova in Croatia, Probably the only one. As an Australian we had to have it!! If eating tuna steak, order rare!!
