Nice open air grill and bar, right at the entrance of San Nicolas. Come and get your delicious wraps and bbq to go or sit down and eat.
This restaurant is what local Aruba is all about. The food was delicious local fare. You can get virtually anything from grilled chicken, ribs, beans, rice or local soups and stews. These are just a few samples of the menu. We loved our bartender who kept us entertained while visiting. Itâs an outside restaurant that offers all of their food to go, as well. Close to Baby Beach.

Called in to let the hostess know that our party of 18 here for our wedding anniversary dinner at our (former) favorite restaurant was slightly behind schedule and we were informed that our reservation was never made. We had been emailing with the hostess Morella one week before and ultimately spoke to her on the phone. She strategized the seating placement as not to block the bathroom door and also told us is was better to have two tables so that our food would not be delayed with such a big group. At the end of the phone call we said great â so we are all set Is there anything else we need to do? She said no. When we called to say that we were a few minutes behind, they told us that we never put a credit card down to reserve the table and therefore we never had a reservation. In short Morella should have secured the reservation with a credit card the day we called in if that was in fact the resturant policy and not inform us of that policy the day we call to let them know we are 10 minutes behind. Lastly the âmanagerâ we spoke didnât care at all that he was ruining our anniversary dinner and was not only arrogant but needs to learn customer service. They said Morella didnât think we were serious about the reservation.Curious if the owner (I think her name was Joyce) who we met before and was very nice to us really knows what her staff is up to. Glad we didnât let these clowns ruin our anniversary celebration and we gladly spent $1600 elsewhere.

Stopped for lunch after walking around downtown. We split the wings and burger. West Deck is on our list of places to return.

Great food, and super friendly service by the asian owner /host /server, while his dear wife does the amazing cooking. Small place, outdoor seating, alcohol available. Located off the main road, part of the Renaissance Marketplace. Watch for the dinner specials. Parking nearby on street.

Great beach settting on Baby Beach. This place pretty much has the the market for eating at Baby Beach, but they make sure it is also worth the visit beyond just the setting. Beautiful open air restaurant, cool ambiance with tables that are actual prices of trees. Great staff. They arenât The fastest, but the service was great and super friendly and the food was awesome. During our trip to Aruba we wanted to get good local fish at some point and this place hit the spot. We didnât plan to eat at this restaurant, but our timing made it seem like a good idea and we are SO glad we decided to try it. All of our food was good, we tried the fried funchi, big mama BOM, fish platter, and knockout platter. You can choose how you want your fish cooked, we got grilled, and it was all fantastic. If unsure what anything is, just ask, and they do a good job explaining. Prices were good, sizes were good and taste was great. Would absolutely recommend this place. Undecided if I would drive all the way down though just for the restaurant, might, but not sure. But if ever visiting baby beach again, this would be a must stop.
