Reviews on Grill food in Sapa, Lao Cai Province, Vietnam. The northwest market town of Sapa is colorful and charming, providing the perfect oasis in the midst of a strenuous mountain trek or rice-paddy tour. The Gothic stone church at the center of town is a bull’s-eye in the center of shops and stalls, serving as a reminder of the town’s French missionary influence. Dine on Vietnamese or European-inspired cuisine downtown, and don’t miss the Saturday night "love market," one of the most potent—and strictest—single’s nights imaginable.

Right next to the Cat Cat waterfall overlooking the bridge and the water mills, this a great place to stop for a bit, coffee or beer. We were caught in a downpour so ducked in to get out of the rain. Had a nice fish, sticky rice and fried vegetable rolls. All very tasty and well presented. When we left even though it wasnât raining the owner gave us a couple of rain panchos saying, âI donât want you to get wet againâ. Cat Cat is a great place to visit and this little cafe adds to the magic. Thank you so much for came to my home! Because the rained... so we can severed you and your honey!Hopefully weather will be better on your trip! One day soon if you return Sapa, please come back my restaurant!we promise will be some food and drink much better!Again! We have say thank you so much and have good trip!Let's bring Vietnam back home!

One of the few good things about the rapid development of Sa Pa is that there is now a wider choice of food available and the addition of a Japanese/Malaysian restaurant is certainly welcome.I have tried both Japanese restaurants that I am aware of in Sa Pa and this is certainly the better option. The Chef, who I had the pleasure to chat with for a bit, spent a few years in Japan and it shows. THe Sashimi was fresh and very tasty. As I felt like something a little more substantial, I chose the "Dry Beef Hor Fun", which was also very good.Service was attentive and pleasant. To be honest, the restaurant downstairs does not have such a great ambiente; try to get a spot on the roof which looked much nice.Prices are decent and I will certainly be back.Dear hannostamm,Warmest greeting from Chef Sumo - Buffet BBQThank you very much for having meal with us and enjoyed itWe all are looking forward to welcoming you back in nearest futureWith very best regards
We found this place by accident, but it was a divine dining experience. Since they opened just recently and are not specialised in tourists, they didn't have an English menu do we decided to trust the waiter and he brought us delicious original vietnamese food (lots of it) and special artichoke tea. Overall we had great time there. Thanks so much for all the information and great service I see that you had an unforgettable accident in our restaurant. Many surprises are waiting for you in next time. Thank you very much!
