Weâve been there for lunch. Have to wait around 30-45 minuets, but itâs normal for good quality restaurant. Looks like most of people there are local. Weâve ordered sardines, soup, salad and white wine. We got 5 pcs of fish with boiled potato and mix salad. Itâs way enough for 2 people. Starter includes breads (amazing yellow color cord bread) small cheese, butter, pate and plate of fresh boiled shrimps. Starter offers to everyone and coasts around 10 euro. Total Price was very reasonable. Stuff works well and taste is very good. Recommend for lunch and dinner. Suitable for big family with kids.

We found this restaurant on trip advisor and went as a table of six for a family Birthday celebration, the place is done out beautifully, and the menu looked good, the waiter was very polite but very slow and seemed to be in a world of his own, we asked for water and wine to begin with and had to ask after 15 mins of looking at the wine sat on the bar if he could open it (we were the only people in the restaurant at this time) he replied âoh do you want to have it nowâ yes we replied slightly confused at his question, we then had to ask three times for the water, we decided on the sharing plates (three different types) between us for starters which were lovely although along time coming, then the mains came, all seemed well until one of the steaks was rare (very) and we asked if it could go back on for a little longer as we had asked for it to be medium, after waiting 25 mins and all other people at the table had finished the meal we called the waiter over and said that it had been too long and that we no longer wished to have the steak as the person had already been eating their side dishes and didnât want to sit and eat alone at this point as everyone else was done, the waiter said ok and apologized, 10 mins later a man came over with a tight t-shirt on and muscles and veins bulging and said here is your steak, he was extremely angry and rude, we explained that we had cancelled the steak and why, he picked the steak up and walked off not happy, we felt that he had come over to try and intimidate us, he then proceeded for the next 20 mins to talk to all other staff and point continuously over at us, he then lent on the bar and started angrily staring over at us until we left, we asked another man who looked like the owner a question and he completely ignored us, it is such a shame that they reacted so badly to something they had done wrong in the first place, my advise would be to get rid of the rude muscle man and listen to your customers orders and cook the food to the way theyâve asked in the first place and then your restaurant might succeed, it was a BIRTHDAY MEAL RUINED as we have never been made to feel so uncomfortable in a restaurant like this beforeHello,We apologize for this situation. There was definitely lack of communication between our two waiters which originated this situation. We are sure that our waiter didn't want to intimidate you and this was a very punctual situation, due to the lack of communication. We care a lot with our costumers and we are really sorry for your bad experience. However, we would like to have you back in order to give you a better experience than the previous one.

Nice Indian food and attentive staff. Good selection - we had Chicken Saag and Karahi Chicken with rice, Cobra sides etc. Pretty cheap too. The night we were there the restaurant was about half full, and although we enjoyed it the starters arrived almost immediately and the main as soon as the starter was finished so I'd be surprised if we spent more than 45 minutes from arriving to leaving rather than having a leisurely evening meal. That may be a result of how they serve when Nazare is rammed with visitors in the summer.

After reading reviews we knew we had to eat here and we were not disappointed. We got there early, just before 7pm which meant we could choose where to sit, it got busy quickly and when we left there was a queue! We chose a fish to share, it was cooked quickly and perfectly. The waiter expertly removed the bones, whilst telling us about the fish - the different flavours and textures of different parts. Absolutely delicious! The only thing to note, is that they only take cash!Sr thomastravelsworldFicámos muito felizes que tenham gostado do nosso espaço foi um gosto tê-los conhecido. Pessoas como vocês são sempre bem-vindas. Obrigado!Com os melhores CumprimentosRaimundo Felismina

Founded as a trade house, grocery store, cafe and tavern in 1954 by Mr. Manuel "Manelvina" Isabel. From the year 1997 Mr. Alfredo "Manelvina" Isabel improved and expanded the space as a bigger tavern and snack house. There was no shortage of cheeses and h
We found this restaurant through TA but it's also very known by locals. It's a bit in the middle of nowhere but every table was reserved. We got several dishes of quality sausages, bacon, steak, etc. accompanied by a delicious tomato salad and french fries. We had a caraf of good red house wine and dessert. The total was a mere â¬36!And on top of that you get a tasty liquor, a pastry and a smile. What do you want more?

I'm told this restaurant raises its own pigs. Notwithstanding, the leitao was excellent. It's a locals restaurant with most customers in early January, on a Sunday afternoon, local Portuguese couples and families. One was having a birthday party (10 people) and another a family, multi-generational party (25 people). There is an enormous menu with descriptions also in English. We took a standard meal as I had other US visitors here for the holidays. With our pork, which you can order by the kilogram (for 3, we had the recommended 300 grams per person or 900 grams total, just under a kilo) and we had two side dishes - the basic salad and french fries (batatas fritas). We also had the 'covert' of bread, olives, some sliced meats - everything was eaten over the course of several hours. We arrived about 2 and had to wait 30 minutes for a table. They bring a dessert tray in little dishes. My friend asked if they had anything else and which was the waiter's favorite. He brought out a special cheese cake. It was delicious.I'd also recommend paying a bit more for a bottle of wine vs. the house wine. The wine markup is remarkably low.Have fun, make it a holiday or special treat or just go for it.In many ways, it is similar to the Taberna da Malavina which specializes in beef, whereas this one does pork, including black port.

We ask for Tiger Prawn, well come with lots of sand ... Difficult to eat. The french fries was dry and very bad, the salmon was overcooked no tasty (probably frozen as well) - the only good think was the wine. The staff take time to attend us as well.

A somewhat drizzly off-season visit brightened by a visit to this excellent seafood restaurant. Grilled sea bass simply done (this fish best ordered this time of year apparently) followed by a perfect crime brûlée. And a good Portugese white wine of course... Good service and views of the sea.
