Reviews on Grill food in Rabat, Rabat-Sale-Zemmour-Zaer Region, Morocco. Morocco's coastal capital since 1912, Rabat has just over a million people. Modern and even reserved by Moroccan standards, the city also has many fascinating historic sites, including the picturesque Kasbah of the Udayas, built in the mid-12th century. The unique Hassan Tower, begun at the end of the 12th century, was meant to have the world's largest minaret, but was never completed. Just opposite the tower lies the 20th-century Mausoleum of Mohammed V, another of the city's main attractions.

What a place! Amazing atmosphere and excellent food and as expected, a very good and friendly service! Slightly pricy (well below than EU standard) compared to other places, but absolutely worth. Carfeul if you just stop by for dinner, not AVLB all nights and reservation for dinner only is suggested.

We had excellent pizza here. The service was friendly, although it took some patience to grab their attention. The interior was very cosy and dark, mainly lit by candles. It seems this encouraged other guests to smoke, which combined with the limited ventilation was a bit of a let down. Their excellent pizza deserves better.

This restaurant is a successor (same owners, largely same menu) to Babylonia which used to be right across the street. The Iraqi/Syrian food is still wonderful and extremely reasonably priced. I had the more expensive mixed plate including hummos, moutabel, kebba and a number of other items. It was only about $6 and was excellent. My wife had the baba ghanouzh, hummos, and falafel and loved it, our companion had the hummos with meat and also loved it. MUCH better than the nearby "Syrian" restaurant a couple of blocks away that had none of the major menu items available!

I ate at this place last November and i got sick for two days. It was a bad experience. Everything looked good and the service was excellent. I ordered several things. The plates looked good and my plate included fries that were fried in old oil. I had no way of knowing this. I felt it when I reached home. I wonder if Rabat has an inspection bureau to deal with these types of violations. I think the owner should pay attention to this and ensure the food served to customers is healthy. I will not eat at this place again until something is done about it.

You shouldn't expect much from this small outlet, yet it serves delicious food and for very acceptable prices. Portions are generous, we had turkey and liver sausages (the lightest you can have with a side of fires and rice,, vegetarian pizza tastes like your mother will do it, and seafood salad (very generous portion of perfectly cooked calamari and baby shrimps and smoked salmon and crabs) prices are very affordable.
