The restaurant offers a wide range of dishes, mainly meat, on an US-style. If you are ready to depart from the traditional dishes and combinations, this is a very good value. We had the tasting menu. We had a courtesy first plate of asparagus and fried cassava. Very good. Unfortunately it was served in a plastic bowl with a plastic spoon. Not at the standard and quality of the restaurant. The second plate was a good provoleta with Argentinian sausage. The wines fitted very good. The third plate was excellent: matured meat, carefully roasted. This plate was as we expected, and served with a very good wine. The salad was ok. Nothing special. The dessert was very good, just a little hard because it was too frozen and difficult to cut with a spoon. The waiters need to be more sensitive to special needs from the guests: we were a little hurried because we had to leave to the airport, and I had to tell this to the waiters on three occasions to hurry up with the next plate.

The place is an old house. So tables in different rooms makes it pretty quiet. Recommendable for couples and not big groups. The empanadas for starter are a must. Then if not looking for nice Argentinian meat, it has some other very nice options as salmon sorrentinos.Quality / price relationship is optimal. It is not between the most famous popular restaurants in Mendoza but I highly recommend it.

As a Chicagoan, I like to think that I know pizza--deep dish, thin crust, NY, quattro formaggi, Neapolitan, Sicilian--the list goes on and on. The pizza we shared at Oregano--a symphony of camembert, mozarella, and caramelized onions--was as good as any I've ever had. It was accompanied by a delicious corn salad with grilled avocados, burrata, and basil leaves. Wow!
